A beautiful private house. We were astonished by the size and beauty of the room we had. Despite it being a private home, the host areas are separated so guest have lots of privacy. Access was easy and everything straightforward. The property was full of character. It was also very clean.

The style of the room is very cool. For people value the artsy style and special setup more than standardised perfection, this is the place to stay. Located in a (mostly) quiet side road in a old residential building that looks kinda familiar from movie scenes. Just a few minutes walk from the next subway station and Central Park. Takes just about 20 Minutes to get to Penn Station / Madison Square. The rooms are decorated with great care of details. Artworks and hidden features can be discovered anywhere in the room.

The building is beautiful all in wood and well decorated.
Bed was not flat and not comfortable for me. Lot of pillows but not one good for sleeping, only decorative.
Check in. I arrived at 9 pm tired after an intercontinental flight and found out they gave me a wrong code for the access. 1 hour before someone picked up my call and give me corrected code. No excuses received. Not an hotel but a guest house, but guests must be cared properly.
