It was calm. The tenant was a good person.
This property was the best. Whoever has a problem with it. They don’t know nothing they just wanna complain. This property is ball. Five star in my opinion.

We were very happy in our stay. The room and bathroom was spacious, comfortable and well located. We had great communication days prior to our arrival and they were kind enough to let us drop our bags for a few hours before our check-in because we arrived super early. Even though we were mostly moving around in Brooklyn and the lower east side for work we really enjoyed the area and would love to return.
I would say that the shower leaks a bit onto the floor outside and it was a bit mushy and messy to maintain without it becoming too wet outside the shower. Also I wouldn't say I disliked it but there's an interesting decor in the room, with the two busts coming out of the wall, but it gives it character.

James our host was exceptional in his host duties, even carrying our luggage up the stairs as this unit is on the second floor. The decor was both eclectic and colorful and we loved it. Think tiling and stonework everywhere. :-D Great window view in the living room. Two big screen TV's, comfortable recliners and platform bed, overall pleasant stay.
The property is beautiful, on a nice street but the surrounding neighborhood is not as well kept and might be a turn off to some, although our interactions with the local vendors was that they were always very nice to us, and, in fact, we never felt uncomfortable at any time.
The property owners are doing renovations, so I realize there are ongoing projects, but I was uncomfortable using the shower because it was coming apart at the tiles and looked dirty. The shower door didn't stay closed and the toilet seat was loose, so these things should be taken care of before another client comes in.
Also, there is no full kitchen, just a microwave, mini fridge, so plan to get takeout a lot.

Great location close to the subway with lots of places to eat, bodegas, etc. closeby. Bed was very comfortable, loveseat reclined, AC was strong, good water pressure in shower, unique and nice decor. James was polite and helpful with requests I.e. to leave coffee cups since only lids were there upon arrival.
Towels were tiny and thin. Shower was tiny with visible mold. Most importantly we were sent a message AFTER booking that we would be above the owner and may hear him during business hours. While the bedroom had a door for privacy (lock broken), the hallway for the bathroom and lounge/kitchenette area is right above the open staircase for the owner’s area (just like walking up to the second story of a house) and you can smell their cooking and hear them at all hours of the day and night- listening to music, talking on the phone, belching, urinating with the door open, etc. Wish I would have known that before booking, would have chosen the other room (we booked Deluxe double unit A).
