It was a lovely apartment, had what’s we needed was clean and enough space
The only bad thing was the beds, the mattresses was hard spring they really need new ones wasn’t comfortable to sleep at all had to get the cover of the other bed and put it on the bed we slept on to make it less uncomfortable other than this it was perfect and great value for money! If the mattresses wasn’t spring ones we’d definitely book it in future!!

The decor was brilliant and the two en-suite’s were a lovely addition.
The stairs up to the property have no grip at all, especially considering the constant bad weather in the north of england. I personally had a bad fall down the stairs after following the directions to dispose of recycling downstairs outside of the apartment. The cutlery hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly and there was open drinks in the cupboards of the property and items left behind by past customers.
The trams run on weekends until 1am and pass frequently, and you can feel it in the floor of the apartment even upstairs. Also had a noise disturbance from people either outside or next door that kept me awake due to shouting from a number of people

John was super helpful when the code he provided wasn’t working. He was very attentive and rang us within seconds of us messaging. Plenty of room for us to get ready and not feel like we were all on top of eachother. Free On street parking and the host has cameras which really put us at ease, free parking in the city is so so rare so that was a massive plus.
Unfortunately it looked like only one of the bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned, I actually had to clean the bathroom with the products under the sink because of the state of the bathroom, especially compared to the downstairs bathroom which was clean, but could of done with the shower screen being recleaned.
In general the whole property could do with a professional deep clean, the bannister was filthy and I ended up wiping that down, the upstairs bathroom, I spent an hour + on the first night cleaning the bathroom which still had hairs all over the floor, shower walls, around the bottom of the toilet still had urine (I took photos before I cleaned),
The bath mats were covered in hair and were dirty we ended up using towels instead.
All skirtings needed a very good clean/dust, the carpets were covered in black sock fluff and needed hoovering, aswell as the sides of the rooms hoovering. (there wasn’t a hoover provided).
The kitchen cupboards and back splash were covered in splashes of grease, which you could visibly see, there were smears on the appliances and cupboards but they weren’t fully clean.
The trams run from 6am - 1am on a weekend and are very loud from the apartment, but we slept with the TV playing and it worked out.
We didn’t use the small shower/toilet in the hallway as the smell from the drains was unbearable as soon as we opened the door. We kept it shut for the remainder of our stay.
