From this strategic position it is possible to explore many places of Tuscany and Umbria like Arezzo, Siena, Firenze, Perugia, Montepulciano, Trasimeno Lake, Gubbio and Assisi. The house is a classically solid stone construction with thick walls that make for a cool interior in summer and a warm cosy feel at other times of the year. It is beamed and simply furnished in a solid dark wood fashion, as are the characteristically stout doors and windows shutters.
