About 15 km above Cortona, surrounded by vast oak forests, lies this friendly vacation home with private pool, large garden, great views and plenty of space for young and old! On the first floor and 1st floor there are large terraces facing the sunny south side; a shaded seating area just in front of the kitchen, with barbecue. On the lower floor, guests can use a bright room with table tennis, table soccer and fitness equipment. All bedrooms have private bathrooms, two additional toilets on the first floor. The interior is simple and functional. A little above the house is the fenced pool area with deck chairs and panoramic views. Also on the property: basket, boccia, badminton. Directly from the house you can take wonderful walks. The picturesque Etruscan town of Cortona is a worthwhile destination: here you can wander the picturesque streets and alleys, discover ever new views as far as Lake Trasimeno and watch the lively hustle and bustle in front of one of the numerous bars and wine bars. Chic clothes and leather goods, wines and local specialties are offered here in many places. You should not miss the Etruscan museum and also a walk up to the fortress always offers unique views. The nearby Franciscan monastery of Le Celle, a romantic place of contemplation (12 km), is beautiful.Other excursion destinations: Lake Trasimeno with its sandy beaches and small islands (35 km). In Montepulciano you should taste and buy the famous Rosso di Montepulciano locally (45 km); the charming Renaissance town of Pienza with breathtaking views over the unique Orcia Valley (50 km) will remain in vivid memory. But also a visit to the Umbrian Città di Castello (30 km) is worthwhile! Siena with the beautiful Piazza del Campo (90 km) and the Umbrian capital Perugia (70 km) can be reached within an hour's drive.
