A beautiful Tuscan stay, secluded but well positioned for nearby historic towns. Beautiful grounds, room and exceptional

Even more beautiful than the photos. Very welcoming to our little one and the food was exceptional. The swimming pool was so clean and the grounds well kept. If their restaurant is open, I really recommend their tasting menu. We loved our stay here and highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Amazing calm, beautiful and clead place. Breakfast was amazing and the assistance was great. 8 minutes drive from the place there is a vary cute town of Cortona with great choice of restaurants. Highly recommend

This was a wonderful experience, first night we went to a local restaurant recommended by our host, it was delicious. 2nd night had an absolutely amazing dinner, so many course and delicious food.

The website advertised many options for excursions.. but did not mention and off season or pre-booking as a requirement … this should be more clearer to the travelers. Also no food options after breakfast, not even a close by market for snacks. A next door property offered food only after 1900….

Beautiful Tuscany

It was a beautiful location, beautiful, traditional Tuscan buildings, close to Cortona, an easy train ride into Florence from the local train station. The staff were all very sweet and accommodating, and the breakfast every morning was also very good. The only negative for me was the bed was very hard, and the last day was a little warm and I couldn’t get the AC to function, but I probably should have asked for help with it! I’d stay again!

The only real negative was the bed was very hard, and I said it was like sleeping on a slab of marble!!!

This farm stay was incredible. Francesca looked after us and was so sweet and kind and went above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious and the property so well maintained. Just be aware that you will need a car for transport to and from the farm and if you want to explore the old town in Cortana, which is well worth it.

Wonderful stay! Gorgoues property, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Very casual check in process, which was a new expereince for me, but I liked it! No stress at all, show up tell them who you are, then when you check out tell them and off you go! Easy and no hassle. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable, relaxed, well-maintained facility in the countryside near Cortona

It's a lovely "argitourism" facility. It's not in Cortona proper, so if you're looking to stay in the middle of the city of Cortona, this isn't for you. It's isolated - in a very nice way. The grounds are lovely. My kids loved having the pool to play in. Our room was very comfortable, very quaint. The house we were in had a kitchen and dining area that we made use of. If you are looking for a place to "get away" and relax away, but still be close to Cortona, this was a great choice.

It's not in Cortona, proper; it's a 10-minute drive, so if that is what you are looking for, this place might not be well suited. And it's not a Four Seasons: it doesn't have that type of feel, amenities, or staffing, so if that's what you're looking for, again, this might not be perfect. But for what we were looking for, we had absolutely no complaints. We thought it was a great place to stay.

A great Tuscan Agriturismo with an amazing restaurant

The apartment was very spacious and well maintained. The agriturismo is a series of old farmhouse modernized as apartments. It is very conveniently located at the bottom of Cortona. The best thing was the amazing restaurant. All the food was typical Tuscan and amazingly good. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. We had an amazing time.

Beautiful location, accommodating hosts who work hard to please guests. The delicious food was top quality and portions were more than generous. Price was very reasonable considering all of the amenities. Plenty of places in the surrounding area to enjoy a walk or to enjoy a bike ride.

Our particular suite was above the restaurant and there happened to be a wedding celebration that Saturday night, so the noise level didn’t begin to dissipate until almost 2 a.m. However, the next evening was peaceful and we slept very well. The cushions in the sofa in our sitting room need replacement. The sofa looked nice, but was uncomfortable to sit on.
