I booked this property because I couldn’t find availability in the Lake District, and its location just 30 minutes away made it a perfect alternative. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, with easy key access, and the host was friendly and quick to respond to every message. Both bedrooms were tidy, comfortable, and had their own en‑suite bathrooms, which added a lot of convenience. The bathroom was slightly small for me as I’m quite tall, but it didn’t affect the overall quality of my stay. I would recommend this place without even thinking — a great experience overall.

Clean and clearly newly renovated although done quickly. Good location.

Lounge furniture uncomfortable. No instructions left for use of central heating so had to contact owner as very cold and even when got working it did not stay on and with no radiator in downstairs bathroom it was therefore unusable for shower. En-suites very impractical, cramped and sinks only suitable for washing hands. No shelving or space to put any toiletries or hang towels in en-suites. Couldn’t always park outside property due to skip but could find a space elsewhere.
