PERFECT

We stayed at this beautiful home during our son's graduation in Lancaster, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house is right in the heart of the city just steps away from cafes, pubs, shops, and everything you might need. The location truly made our stay effortless and memorable. The house itself was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The layout was thoughtfully planned, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and we didn’t miss our own at all! The fresh bread, butter, and milk left for us in the kitchen were such a kind and thoughtful touch. Thank you so much for that. Check-in was very easy with the secure code system; no need to deal with keys. Our host was friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout our stay. If I may mention a small point, as other guests have also noted, while the bathroom is beautifully designed and stylish, the lack of a proper walk-in shower makes things a bit tricky. With only a freestanding bathtub and a handheld shower, it’s not easy to wash without splashing water everywhere, especially if you have long hair. This might be something to consider for future improvements. Also, I personally love having a bedside socket in the bedroom; it’s certainly not essential, but it would be a lovely addition for extra convenience. All in all, we had a truly wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you again for making our visit to Lancaster so comfortable and enjoyable!

Wonderful, comfortable and modern self-catering apartment in the centre of Lancaster

This property went above and beyond – the host had made the place homely and left a few small gifts of food and coffee that made arrival easier, particularly with a late check-in. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the location is terrific.

There was nothing I had any issue with in the house, and I can't see any reason to write any negative here.

Perfect base to explore Lancaster on foot, 200m from centre, a beautiful canal walk and paid parking

Unloading parking area outside front door of the property. 20m opposite a great italian restaurant. Large TV. Kitchen facilities good

Bath unstable, and only hand shower. Doormat at top of the stairs spongy & split - consider it to be dangerous and should be replaced. Didnt see a dishwasher in the kitchen. If you dont like stairs, you may not like the 2 flights from street to bedrooms.

Nothing! We could have some with some extra plug sockets near mirrors, 7 girls getting ready is a lot at once! An extra key would have been useful as we split up as a group at times. And possibly as shower curtain, although we made great use of the bath!!

Lovely, modern property and beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean. Bonus having some essential food stuffs supplied too for arrival. Great location right in the centre of the city.

The only downfall of this property was the lack of a shower. We knew this before we arrived but thought we could manage with the hand held ‘shower’ over the bath. However, this was really difficult to use. It went from being scalding hot to freezing cold and you just couldn’t get an ambient temperature. It took ages to wash hair and jump in and out of bath! There were only 4 of us trying to get ready - thank goodness there weren’t more! Also, no lock on bathroom door which seemed odd!

Great location in the centre of Lancaster. Fully equipped, well presented property, everything you need for a week is there. Good communications with host before and during our stay. Would definitely visit again.

Location was great, having 3 bedrooms was excellent. Clean and tidy, well looked after.

It was very noisy due to proximity of traffic. Hot water ran out after 1 shallow bath one night, but oddly the next morning was plenty of hot water. Strangely the blinds didn't cover the entire windows so the bedrooms were very light.

Very well -appointed, comfortable beds, great kitchen. Location was perfect, car parks close by and city centre location - great Italian restaurant across the road too! Will definitely recommend to friends.

A brilliant find right in the centre of Lancaster. Lovely and warm with really comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Calvin was a great host, very friendly and the milk, bread, butter and jam was a great touch. Highly recommended, l'm sure we'll be back.
