Comfortable stay
The house was very clean. Good location. Good communication from the owner. Beds were fine and everything tidy and comfortable. Cheap and "cheerful"
No parking permits so I'm sure I'm going to end up with a parking fine in the post. The smell in the house is WEIRD. It's strongest in the kitchen, almost like something has died somewhere but not sure. Made us not want to use the kitchen. Gadgets everywhere. Everything is a smart device even the bathroom radiator. Sensors everywhere. Don't stay here if youre not comfortable using gadgets even the microwave needed a PhD to use 😅 if my mum had been there by herself then she wouldn't have been able to use the kitchen devices!

the place was ideal for a girly night away
location able to have a room each with it not being expensive TVs warm & plenty places to hang jackets etc
the bedding was on the flimsy side some rooms PIR and some not, got muddled up which ones to switch off sitting room light very bright, could have done with a lamp or dimmer switch

A very good place to stay for a self catered city break.
Location right next to the station, a few doors down from a little corner convenience store and a short walk to the city centre, with a quiet way to the bus station along a cycle way. You could hear the few trains at night but they were surprisingly quiet - a low comforting rumble. A circular walk right round the city along the canal and an old railway line goes past the house (through the car park in front).
The huge lampshade in the bedroom LOL. The technology took a bit of working out - how to adjust the thermostat (which reset itself each morning), how to adjust the toaster, and getting used to room lights turning on automatically. No side plates.

Great location, clean, warm and comfy beds. Good check out time. Owner Aaron kept in touch before and after stay.
Few more soft furnishings ie extra comfy chair or beanbags in living room and rug would make it 10/10

Very helpful communication from host throughout. The location of the house was excellent. Ideal for train station, and just a short walk into the town centre. So very useful to have 2 parking permits. The house was spacious and accurately described. It proved to be a great base for a family gathering.
Like so many properties, the house has a few signs of wear and tear, but nothing that impacted our stay, and overall represents great value.
