Ideal for family visit to the university

Very clean and tidy. Good space for the family given lounge, dining room and big kitchen. Beds comfortable and plenty of towels, toilet rolls and cleaning products. Everything in the kitchen worked well. Lovely and warm with extra heater if needed. Tv super given lots of choice like Netflix for our daughter. Free parking outside perfect! Key lock easy to use. Great communication from Jane the owner who genuinely cared about our experience. Would definitely book again or recommend to friends.

No dishwasher but we washed up everything given lots of cleaning products left. Bluetooth speaker or radio would have added to how great the property was to stay in.

Very comfortable house situated in a quiet street with easy parking, a few minutes drive from the city centre. Small shops 3 mn walk away. The landlady was very easy to communicate with

Absolutely loved the house and location. Heating was on when we arrived and v clean.

Ok if it’s only for for a couple of nights stay.

Good location. Clean.

Kitchen is VERY dim with almost no lighting. One of the overhead bulbs isn’t working. No kitchen paper towels or hand tissue which are important for guests to keep the property clean. We had to use our own tissues. Especially in cold wet conditions, really could have used an electric dryer. If the front entrance had a ramp, it would be most helpful to pull in heavy luggage.

Lovely place, home from home!! Excellent communication from the host. We were able to have a late check out which was very helpful. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Loads of room and it had everything we needed. 2 bathrooms was very useful. Short walk to the city centre. Plenty of parking on the street.

Highly recommended

We stayed for 5 nights while we attended an activity at Lancaster University. The property is centrally located, within comfortable walking distance to the University and the town centre. There's also a few nearby shops, at the top of the street, including a post office and a pharmacy. The property is very well maintained and clean throughout. Jane is very friendly and helpful, and she promptly responds to any queries. We highly recommend staying here.

Well located for exploring Lancaster, close to the town centre but in a quiet area. Immaculately clean and well equipped property with all mod-cons. The host could not have been more helpful and checked up on our stay regularly. Great base for our weekend stay.

Enjoyable and comfortable and value for money

Property was within easy driving reach of the towns and areas we wanted to visit. It was very clean, well stocked and comfortable.

As older people we would have liked all the instructions for working the appliances available in the property rather than being directed to look on line
