Grand Mercure Krabi Ao Nang

I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, and I can honestly say that my experience at Grand Mercure Ao Nang was truly unforgettable. Every member of the staff delivered service that is simply beyond words. The kindness, attention to detail, and hospitality made me feel truly welcomed throughout my stay. The room was spacious and clean, the bed exceptionally comfortable, the towels had the most beautiful and fresh fragrance, breakfast was simply delicious, and the pool bar was a wonderful place to relax. Yet, what captivated me most were the daily Thai rituals. They were an unexpected gift. I didn’t just experience one of the best hotel stays of my life, I also experienced a meaningful cultural immersion. Through these rituals, I learned so much about Thai traditions and found myself deeply touched on several occasions. I am leaving with immense gratitude and a heart overflowing with joy. Thank you to the entire Grand Mercure Ao Nang team for creating such a memorable experience. I truly hope to return one day!

The Grand Mercure Ao Nang is just a gem, and I would stay again. It looks extremely well maintained, and I was surprised by how affordable it was considering the quality of the rooms and breakfast. The only downside was how many elevators and stairs it took to navigate the property if you were situated in the back. I guess that is to be expected when a hotel is built on a hillside, though. Luckily, the hotel offers shuttle service to/from the rooms. Thai probably gave us 5 or 6 rides, and he was honestly a highlight of our stay. He was courteous, kind, funny, and extremely personable. He would go out of his way to find out our activities for the day and then give us recommendations. He suggested that we take a long boat to Railay Beach, and then dropped us off directly at the ticket counter. It was an amazing experience, and I wish him good fortune in all his endeavors.

I had a 2 night stay in this hotel. The check in was quick and the staff personally send us to our room. I had a late lunch at the italian restaurant and it was good. Price on the upside. Now about the room, I had a particularly bad experience. My room on Block C had a terrible smell from the washroom. one of the floor drain water outlets emits a foul smell. When I got to the room in afternoon it wasnt so bad but it got real bad by 10 pm. The hotel staff acted quickly and changed our room over immediately to another one when they check the issue. I am pleased with their action but they should not have let that room be given out to the customers at all. I am glad they are professional and made our stay as comfy as possible. Also the travel desk there is good. If you plan to go island hopping , do take the booking with her for a good service by the travel tour company with good hoetl transfer, super new less crowded speed boat and an amazing guide and meal service. I trust they are reputable as the operate out of this highy end hotel lobby. This hotel is a bit at the quiet end of ao nang but you have anice pool and less noise from the crowds. Breakfast is above average . nothing fancy.

Reception staff was quite Rough and Rude specially 1 lady staff there she was really a Very Rude and not cooperative but there breakfast buffet staff was completely opposite polite and very cooperative
