Nothing, it was great.

As one of the first guests here, I’m happy to share that this villa has a lot going for it! The location is fantastic, with plenty of eateries and shops a short walk away. The staff was attentive and proactive, checking in every other day to offer cleaning and pool maintenance. Since cleanliness is my #1 priority, I was glad they asked. I also loved the open-concept living area and the place is big, so it would be super great value if you did have a party of 4 or 6. The pool is small but perfect for a refreshing soak. A very clean, well-located stay with a team that cares about their guests!

While we enjoyed our time, the property didn't quite live up to the "premium" feel of the photos. Most issues aren't dealbreakers but are worth noting for future guests. The downstairs bedroom was a bit of a struggle; the doors don't shut tightly and the large keyhole allowed pests (including a frog and mosquitoes) to get inside. The bathrooms and appliances felt quite dated. A few inexpensive upgrades would go a long way: replacing the worn kitchenware (plates/utensils). I’d also suggest removing the artificial flowers as they just collect dust. Finally, while the insect zappers are appreciated, providing a few more around the villa would be a huge help.
