Design Apartment with 2 Bathrooms - Blaumana Street

Sehr gute Lage. Helle und saubere Wohnung. In der Nähe gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. 2 Straßenbahnhaltestellen und nette Cafés.

Leider hat uns der Vermieter nicht rechtzeitig über das Abstellen des warmen Wassers informiert. Obwohl das wohl länger geplant war.

Spacious, clean, bright, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, comfy couch, different type of mattresses (medium and more firm), central location

1 type of bed pillow (soft, no support at all), footsteps etc. apartment above can be heard

Det gav lidt problemer, at der kun var dobbelt dyner til sengene Der kunne ikke skaffes betræk til den 5. dyne ( alle ville sove med egen dyne- vi var 5) Det må bringes med i overvejelserne, at det ikke er i alle lande, man overvejende sover med dobbeltdyne. Location is fabulous. Great area, safe and comfortable, easy to get to old town, not noisy. There's a coded gate, then a code for building door, then the apartment key. Stairs are well kept, easy to walk with plenty of space. The apartment is huge, easily a very liveable space. High ceilings, clean, endless storage. We only used the en suite shower and bath. Washing machine is fabulous, heating worked great. Mattresses are comfortable. Plenty of windows for light and airflow.

Unfortunately the cleaner that set the apartment up for us didn't do a good job. We asked for 3 beds to be set up. On arrival 2 beds had sheets, one was just a bare mattress with a blanket on top. Thankfully we messaged and were delivered sheets before sleeping that evening. However - the sheets delivered AND the sheets on the main bed were not the right size. They could only just sit on the top of the mattress, not even large enough to cover an edge of the mattress let alone be tucked under it. The cleaner made the bed like this? They put a sheet(it was actually a duvet cover) on the main bed as the base sheet, then a duvet. One bed was made normally though. When I messaged about this after the first night, I didn't get a response until the 3rd night saying that correct sheets would be delivered for our final night. They never arrived. So initially communication was good. Then it dropped off and didn't fix the issue at all. There was also no dish towels or dish sponge/ cloth/brush. So may need to bring your own. Unfortunately there was a bucks party above us for 2 nights, but that's to be expected in Riga. Other than that it was very quiet.
