Very disappointed

The bed was comfortable

To start off with we were messed around. We were informed that we could not check in until 5.30pm which was too late for us and we were waiting at the apartment ready to check in. The host could have told us earlier in the day rather than waiting until last minute. When we informed her that we needed to check in right away due to dinner reservations she was hesitant on finding us a new place. She offered other accommodation but didn’t include the facilities that we originally paid for which was a higher price for what we were being offered. Once we agreed on a place she wanted us to cancel our booking through her then directly bank transfer into her account so she could cut out booking.com fee they charge her. We found this very dodgy. We also had to directly bank transfer for security deposit rather than taking a card. We arrived at our accomodation to find no clean towels, no soap for hand washing nor any soap for the shower. Very disappointed seeming how we paid so much. On our second day of being there we were harassed by the host as she needed our keys to get into the complex to pick up a package. She then came to our accomodation while we were there to collect some belongings of hers which we found very odd as she could’ve waited until we had checked out. She then wanted to take our keys off us for a few hours so she could come back and drop something back off later. We refused and she was persistent on taking them until she eventually accepted we would not let her. Another thing the door didn’t lock so had to risk our apartment being unlocked the whole time whilst being out.

Scam Artist

After being asked for a key deposit. I still did not get the code for the key. I waited20 minutes to get a key. After notification to the ower that i put the deposit through. Still i was not able to check in until almost 5. It was messy. There was not enough bedding or towels for the 5 of us. She claims i damaged the floori g which i took pictures of upon arrival. Shes also claims i took the bedding. And wants me to pay $700 amd refuses to refund my key deposit. I cant attached a photo of the floor, but I took one as I had a feeling she'd try to scam me. I travel lots. I use bookings often. I did not take the sheets or damage the floor. Yet still she harassing me and won't give my deposit back. As a single mother of 4 traveling this was the worst experience I've ever had. I believe this place should get banned from bookings and people need to be aware. These people will lie to get more money from you. The facility was not as described. They riped me off and owe me money. They are trying to charge me for something I didn't do. Oh and it's in a ghetto location. No view of beach and tiny peak of sky tower. One room is so lite up you can't sleep. From outside lights.

Horrible

NOTHING

There was no reception so we had to communicate on the phone and Meiqi Wang wouldn't give us the code to the keybox until we transferred her $100. I paid her and she still hasn't given the bond back I have called her and she keeps saying she will. I am very angry. When we got into the room there were no towels just one WET towel. There was no toilet paper. No rubbish bin. No amenities. No soap in the dispenser. Additionally, the bed had hair in it! When we called she said she would deliver new towels and said that the sheets were definitely changed. She delivered the towels 3 HOURS LATER when we were out and she didn't have access to the apartment, so she LEFT THEM OUTSIDE. When we got back she hadn't left any toilet paper and the towels we received were dirty. I am so incredibly disappointed. There was also no wifi and a wierd burning smell when we used one of the powerpoints. The beds sheets felt like cardboard and the mattress felt like rock. I am in no way a princess but this was horrible and disgusting. And I am absolutely infuriated that she hasn't refunded my money.

Do not book here! Host is dodgy. 3pm check in and did not gain access until 5pm!!!

Had a work event at 5:30pm with a check in time of 3pm. I was given no instructions on the day of check in. So as i got to the building expecting there to be a main counter i realised quickly that access was through a lockbox. I was standing out in the rain with 2 toddlers and all of my bags. I expressed this to the host over the phone and instead of giving me the code over the phone she said i needed to pay a security deposit and send through my i.d. After i got off the phone i was so desperate to not be late for my event that i was willing to pay this unexpected security deposit. However the host never sent me anything and instead turned off her phone. I then called booking.com customer service and told them the situation. I was almost in tears by this stage. They advised me not to pay the host anything and that there was nothing there were able to do as the host was not answering their calls. Did not gain access into the apartment until after 5pm!! After waiting all that time and having the owner completely disregard my pleas. Was 30 minutes late to my event. There were only 2 towels for 4 guests (which had all been booked in mind you) One of the blankets is actually a mattress topper. Room doesnt actually have sky tower views. The body wash dispenser had nothing left in it. Im so upset by this whole experience and even more upset that i missed 30 minutes of my event due to the arrogance and complete disregard shown by the host. The fact that she made me stand outside in the rain with my 2 children under the age of 5 is actually disgusting. The fact that there are so many other reviews saying the same thing is appalling.

Would I Go Back - Never!

The address on the confirmation email was not the actual address. Before we were allowed in to the room we had to pay $100 for a key. Don't pay it! This place is an apartment that looks like it's being sublet. It's not a hotel. There's no reception. There was absolutely no guarantee if we paid we'd be given our money back. After telling them I would inform the Police because I thought this was illegal they said I didn't need to pay. Plus from the beginning I asked if we could have the room earlier. We couldn't. We were meant to be able to go in at 3pm. Then they said the cleaners were running late and could we wait! Then we said we wanted to go inside. They allowed us and in the next hour, finished the cleaning. They had 1 towel for 2 people and I asked for another one. They must have gone down the road and brought a new towel - it had the label on it still. There's no tea, coffee, etc in the room. Positives - it was clean. The bed was comfortable. The pool is nice. The sauna was good. Would I go back - never!

Misleading

The location was great and we had an amazing view of the sky tower

Communication was very poor from the start. We had difficulty accessing the lockbox to enter the apartment, which was stressful on arrival. When we finally got inside, we were shocked to find the apartment did not match the listing at all. It was advertised as having two double bedrooms, but instead had one double bed and one king single, which is not suitable for four adults as booked. It was also advertised as having two bathrooms, however there was only one. There was no sofa or sofa bed, despite this being shown in the listing. It also advertises a gym, pool and sauna which was not in the building this should also be stated in the listing. Cleanliness was also an issue, there were marks on the walls, dirty carpets, and filthy mirrors and windows. We were eventually upgraded to a different room, which we appreciated. This room was nicer and had two double beds that were comfortable, however it still only had one bathroom, no TV, only two towels for four guests, and overall was still not as clean as it should have been. More pillows were also needed. The biggest issue is that the images and description on the listing are very misleading and do not accurately represent the property. Correct photos and information need to be used so guests know what they are actually booking
