Ella EDAN Homestay

Wat een fijne tijd hebben wij gehad in deze homestay! De familie is super vriendelijk, vrolijk en behulpzaam. Het verblijf ligt op een ideale locatie om Ella en de omgeving te verkennen. We hebben een aantal dagen via de host Suresh een scooter gehuurd, en op andere dagen zijn we samen op pad geweest in zijn tuktuk. De heerlijke ontbijtjes, fijne bedden en super service maakten deze 5 dagen in Ella helemaal geweldig 🙌🏼 bedankt Suresh, Madu en kids!

Die Gastfamilie ist die Seele dieses Ortes. Wir wurden mit einer solchen Wärme und echten Gastfreundschaft empfangen, die man nur sehr selten erlebt. Sie haben uns die besten Insider-Tipps für die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Ella gegeben und sogar Tuk-Tuk-Fahrten organisiert. Das Frühstück war der absolute Hammer! Alles frisch, authentisch und mit Liebe zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind sauber, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Das Bett war super bequem und wir haben fantastisch geschlafen.

I had a very pleasant stay at this homestay overall. The property is truly beautiful: newly built, spread over two floors, and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom is especially impressive, with a shower that rivals many in Europe. Nice touches like shampoo, body wash, and a wonderfully fragrant cinnamon scrub added to the experience. The upstairs room is carefully decorated and offers a lovely view directly into the jungle, and I also appreciated the availability of a yoga mat. During my stay, I only met Mel (as her husband was away for work), and she was extremely accommodating.

I was offered a tuk-tuk service through the host at a more higher price than what I later found independently via PickMe. I would particularly recommend this place to couples or those looking for a peaceful retreat immersed in nature. As a solo traveler, I personally felt a bit isolated, as the atmosphere is closer to that of a boutique hotel than a traditional homestay experience. It’s also worth noting that the accommodation is attached to the family home, where there are three happy children.

L'intimità di avere una "casetta" tutta per noi.Bellissimo il design e la struttura della casa, con soppalco e terrazzo davanti al letto nel mezzo della foresta. Bagno super,acqua calda, bollitore per te e caffè , frighetto,luci piacevoli, terrazza esterna per fare yoga o bere caffè e leggere in pace. Colazione abbondante e preparata dai proprietari al momento con possibilità di scelta. Super disponibili e infinitamente gentili. Non ci è mancato niente. Volevamo viverci lì per sempre ❤️
