Les Marquises large renovated house with garden

The house was just as wonderful as it looks in the photos. It is set over three floors, each with a bathroom. The decor and fittings are of a very high standard. The garden is also lovely. There was plenty of bedding and lots of towels provided. Lots of thoughtful little touches for the children such as low coat pegs, books, and toys. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. There was a washing machine and clothes airer. The windows all have outside shutters so you can block the light as needed. The living room area was a lovely space. All in all I would say the photos and description are very accurate and we would certainly stay here again. The parking is street parking but we never had a problem finding a space. The area is also very safe and quiet. It is about a 10 minute drive to Intra Muros.

It would be good to have some electric fans provided as the upper floor bedrooms do get a little hot.

We met cousins for a family reunion and had selected this property because it offered 5 bedrooms and we were 5 couples. The reality is that one of the bedrooms (first floor) is "en suite" with another and would only be suitable for a couple with children. It is described correctly but we missed it. ("connecting bedroom"). Sadly, because one couple did not make the reunion, we did not have to solve the issue. Just be aware. The 3rd floor bedroom with two beds is better suited for children as it is very spare and shares a bathroom. The common space and the garden are very suitable for a group. Several of us had bikes (3). There is a bike rack in the garden which has a locked door to the alley, however the rental agent did not have the key and so, before and after each trip the bikes had to go through the living room. Really silly.
