Pitak Hill Villa Sidemen

The views! We were at the top of the mountain with an overhanging deck view of the rice terraces. It was astounding! We set our alarm to get to see the sunrise and set a camera on time lapse to watch the color changes. They brought us food right to the deck and it was magical. The host and staff are all family and couldn’t be any nicer! They invited us to observe their traditional ceremony and treated us like royalty. It was an amazing experience.

Make sure your taxi driver is comfortable driving up the hills in sidemen. Our driver was very nervous and dropped us off a couple kilometers before the villa. We had to walk some, but the hosts received a call from neighbors that saw us so came and picked us up on scooters. It was my fault for not communicating early enough about our arrival time. It probably would’ve been easier had they known through WhatsApp that we were approaching.

The panoramic views from the villa are breathtaking. The villa was very comfortable. The included breakfast was spectacular.

La vue du logement est splendide. Le Logement est parfait pour passer un moment au calme pour se reposer et profiter du paysage. Hôte très accueillant et à votre service.

Les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, ils ont à cœur de vous faire vous sentir bien et profiter de votre séjour. La vue est tout simplement sublime et la nourriture excellente. Même si la route pour y aller peut être un peu pentue car on passe en plein milieu de la jungle, cela vaut largement le coup car elle nous mène à ce havre de paix. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil !
