Taman Swarga Villa Resort & Spa Sidemen

Fantastic location and great staff

We stayed here for two nights and had a very enjoyable stay. There are four Cabins and restaurant area which are new, only opened about five months ago. The Cabins are a good size, comfortable and well appointed. Four bottles of water are supplied every day, We were in Cabin number one, which had good views from the balcony. Worth noting the balcony chairs are very comfortable. The restaurant / bar area is very pleasant overlooking the pool and the food served was very good.  There is a wonderful walk just opposite the Cabins across the river, of local fields full of a variety of vegetables, flowers and herbs, all well maintained, with farmers working away. Strangely,  there is even a concrete jogging path there if you feel so inclined... The resort supervisor arranged a fabulous water rafting tour for us, which we would highly recommend,  It was so well organised at a reasonable cost. They can also arrange transport as required. The staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The only little negative,  is the litter in the river. (Not the resorts fault, rainy season brings it down the river). There are many steps , so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. In summary,  we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

After 9 weeks on the road, we stopped at Taman Swarga for a week to wind down a bit. And what a great choice! The property is so relaxing, located right beside a beautiful rice field that can walk through. It’s small, peaceful, very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the various play things. We felt right at home.

There could be more vegetarian options on the menu. But that’s a minor comment. The food was always delicious and the chef is quite happy to make something off menu if you ask.

We had such an amazing stay at Tanan Swarga! Just opened a little over two months ago and located beautifully next to the rice fields! Only 4 villa’s and they have everything you need and more! Staff is wonderful and really giving you the feeling of being a part of their family. Food and drinks are served in a beautiful way and tasted really good! Also had a massage and a trip to the waterfall all arranged by the manager. Garding already stunning but curious to see how will be a next time! Truly a little paradise ♥️

The most beautiful view I have ever seen from the terrace :) the food in the hotel was delicious and everything was served in a very nice way (delicious Balinese chicken curry). The service from the hotel was great and helpful, especially manager Kari - really nice guy :) clean, beautiful place. The rice fields are really nearby, with no tourists.

Sehr neue Anlage mit (bisher) nur 4 Bungalows. Alles sehr gepflegt und im besten Zustand. Wir haben die Ruhe und die Freundlichkeit des Teams genossen. Wunderbarer Pool, gutes Restaurant und ein Garten der täglich gepflegt wird. Von der Anlage kann man direkt in die nahen Gärten und Reisfelder spazieren, ca. 10 Minuten entfernt liegt auf einem Aussichtshügel ein neues Café/Restaurant. Bis Sidemen mit einem Motorroller ca. 10 Minuten. Eine sehr gute Wahl, wenn man Ruhe, Natur und professionellen Service sucht.

Todella viihtyisä paikka, hieno piha puutarha, hieno iltavalaistus, mukavat mökit, ravintola-alue hieno ja kattaukset, kalusteet ja astiat tyylikkäät! Ruokakin oli erittäin taitavasti valmistettu, siitä kiitos nuorelle henkilökunnalle. Ruokapuoli siis erittäin hyvä ja henkilökunta oli todella ihanaa ja ystävällistä. Kaunis ja rauhallinen paikka, kuuntelimme ohi virtaavan puron ääntä. Luonnon äänet olivat myös hienot, ei liikennemelua. Alempi pomo järjesti meille kyydin Gembleng -vesiputokselle ja taksin lentokentälle (kallis). Paikassa on mukava tunnelma, omaa rauhaa ja luonto lähellä!

Meille ilmoitettu hinta hostellilta lentokentälle (700K) oli kallis. Hinta on keskimäärin 450-600K Sidemanista lentokentälle vuonna 2025 Grok -AI:n mukaan. Meidän oli vaikea olla Bookingin kautta yhteydessä hostelliin ennakkoon, jotta olisimme voineet ilmoittaa check in ajasta arvion. Hostellin esimiehen kannattaa esitellä itsensä aina ensimmäisessä kontaktissa turistille, jotta tiedämme, kenen kanssa olemme tekemisissä, luulimme häntä ensin taksikuskiksemme. Turistit kannattaa toivottaa tervetulleeksi rauhallisesti. Meille tuotiin juomaa hostelliin tullessamme, mutta samalla tultiin jo myymään palveluita, se tuntui hieman hyökkäävälle. Emme nähneet yhtään naista henkilökunnassa. Hierojat ehkä ovat naisia, mutta emme nähneet heitä. Olisi ihana nähdä myös nainen henkilökunnassa. Tyynyt olivat paksut, vaikea mahallaan nukkujalle. Mökeissä voisi olla ravintolan menu listat katsottavaksi. Roskainen joenvarsi harmillista, ei ole hostellin syy.
