Beautiful place you shouldn’t miss!

This is heaven on earth! This is the image that I am keeping in my heart about Bali! And if coming to Bali, you should come to Sidemen and you should stay in this oasis. I think 2-3 nights are enough, it is a quiet place, you can recharge here, you live in full nature and it is amazing. Nothing but beautiful words about this place!

Beautiful location - perfect for a chill out few days.

Everything was beautiful. Scenery is stunning. Direct access on to the trekking trail, which we walked each morning. Infinity pool overlooking the rice fields. Very serene and perfect for a chill out stay. Breakfast was simple but lovely.

You are quite isolated so you are dependant on organising a car. Perfect if you ride a bike so you are free to explore as you wish. Need to be aware that the stairs to the bedroom are very steep so if you have a mobility issues this may not be right for you.

Serenity!! Like living in a postcard

The name of the accommodation literally says it all. What a beautiful villa in a stunning setting. It was peaceful and we got to sit with our amazing breakfast and a brew and watch the rice paddies be harvested every day with views of mount agung. The villa was super spacious, super clean, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The lack of aircon could have bothered us if we came in high season but thankfully it was around 26 degrees and because of the valley location, it was cooler at night time. The room does have fans inside for those needing them though. The staff helped us to secure a moped so we could get around Sidemen as Grab does exist there, but is quite limited due to the location and how quiet Sidemen is in general. We were also given souvenirs to take with us and a lovely letter from Nina and the team. Overall we had a fabulous 3 nights at the villa and would absolutely recommend it for those who want peace, quiet and serenity.

It’s not a criticism and I don’t want to detract from how beautiful the property is, but I think it’s worth mentioning for fellow travellers about the stairs at the villa. They aren’t conventional stairs and are quite unique wooden single steps and are abit steep. If you have mobility issues, I would just take the stairs here into consideration as there are also steps to get down to the villa from the Main Street that could impair you slightly.

We had the most beautiful and unforgettable time at Uma Dewi Sri. The location is magical with beautiful views, sounds of nature and very relaxing vibes. An accommodating staff, a majestic view, a very calm area, the lodging is just perfect, and the breakfast was just amazing.

The location on the Booking.com app was misleading we had to spend more than an extra hour in the car to find the true location. Also the Wifi stopped working in the evening so we had no internet connection until the next morning.

1. The phenomenal views of the rice fields. 2. The architecture. 3. The proximity to the rice field hiking trail. 4. The room is very comfortable. We didn’t feel like we needed an A/C - the fan worked fine for us.

1. For the price, more toiletries like body lotion and conditioner could be provided. 2. Breakfast could have had better options. Choosing between fruit bowl and fruit juice wasn’t ideal as would have preferred both.

Perfect villa set in sublime scenery

The villa is set amidst the most spectacular scenery and is a fabulous place to unwind. The staff were friendly and helpful and they provided delicious breakfast daily. There is a small menu to order from for dinner and lunch or a list of nearby warungs and restaurants - one of which delivers food. There were two very friendly dogs at the property who came and kept us company when we sat and read. Nina has provided an excellent guidebook including things to do, where to eat, how to get around etc. Communication was excellent before, during and after our stay. This is by far one of the most spectacular properties we have stayed in. If you want nightlife, bars and TV, this is not for you, but if you want to wake up to the most gorgeous view and to the sounds from the temple nearby; if you like sitting and watching the light dance over the landscape; if you like walking through padi fields and villages and enjoying a slower pace of life, then I cannot recommend this property highly enough. We have come home thoroughly recharged.

Everything… it’s an exceptional property with high quality interior and great staff. we highly recommend this property if you want to be close to the nature. smooth check-in, personal care of our food habit as we are vegan we wanted to cook our food they allowed us with very great smile and tried to help us everyway. the view of rice terraces is just phenomenal and the interior of hotel is just too notch. their linen is super clean and bathroom was having high end fixtures, they don’t have bidet so yes it’s small problem for few people like us. but all other way staff was very helpful and we highly recommend this property for their personal gestures . they have written personalised letter for us and also provided us lovely souvenirs in our welcome. must go place. 3 nights will be very less to live here.

Amazing views over the rice fields. Nice infinity pool with views. Koi fish at one of the villas.

There is no chance of sleeping late. Only sheer curtains that cover half of the window are available so light streams in before sunrise. Roosters start crowing pre sunrise and the room is not noise insulated. The adjacent property adds to the sounds with local gamelan music and chanting at 6am (both days that we stayed). No air-conditioning. Very steep staircase (57 degrees) with bathroom downstairs from the bedroom so not suitable for those with limited mobility.

It was a great honeymoon stay with amazing views of the natural rice terraces!

Everything was amazing! The host and staff were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast were delicious, plus the view of the rice fields made it even better! Even though it was a rather remote area, my partner and I enjoyed the quietness and how peaceful it was. We enjoyed this unique and private villa very much!

The staircase inside the villa was quite steep but just got to be extra careful going up and down. There will be bugs around the villa but it wasnt too much of a concern for us.

The best hospitality experience on the most beautiful spot in Bali

Staying in the Uma Dewi Sri was the best hospitality experience my wife and I ever had. The villa was absolutely perfect and don't even get me started about the location and the views! After staying in Cangu and Ubud prior to Sidemen, the quite and tranquility Sidemen and this villa offer were amazing. If we ever come to bali again (And we will😁) we would skip the busy and touristy parts of Bali and come straight here. Sidemen and this villa have so much to offer but it might be hard to leave the house and stunning views while you are there. Furthermore, the staff were super kind and will go the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. Apart for cooking delicious food the brought us to another location in Sidemen and picked us up when we were done on their motorbikes. Thanks so much, we will be back!

Superschöne, ruhige Lage in traumhafter Umgebung. Am Land, sehr ursprünglich, Reisfeldspaziergang direkt vor der Unterkunft möglich. Großer und sauberer Pool. Die Unterkunft schaut wirklich sehr stylisch aus und passt hervorragend zum Landschaftsbild. Nina, Dea samt Team lesen Dir jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab und organisieren mit Engagement alle Möglichen Aktivitäten ( Rafting, Scooter, Transport, etc. )

Frühstück etwas bescheiden, da es bestellt werden muss. Die Straßen sind katastrophal, aber dafür kann die Unterkunft logischerweise nichts dafür

We werden warm ontvangen en op bed lag een brief en een souveniertje! Het uitzicht was waanzinnig! Je liep zo de rijst velden in. Het zwembad was goed. De villa was ruim. We kregen een scooter waarmee je de omgeving kunt bekijken. Bij helder weer heb je uitzicht op de mount agung. Het personeel was super lief voor ons! Uitgebreid ontbijt. Echt een aanrader.

Ein kleines Paradies - wie ein Gemälde

Unsere Villa hatte einen fantastischen, offenen Wohnbereich mit Blick auf Reisfelder. Diese Aussicht war aussergewöhnlich. Im oberen Bereich der Villa, der über eine Platzspartreppe erreicht wird, befand sich der sehr schöne Schlafraum. Liebevolle und freundliche MitarbeiterInnen kümmern sich (so mein ich es auch) und erfüllen Urlaubswünsche. Nina, als Gastgeberin, erscheint äußerst freundlich und bemüht, ihre Gäste nicht nur zufrieden zu stellen: hier soll es den Gästen nur gut gehen! Wunderbar! Und wer Natur liebt, wird sie hier ein Stückchen erfahren können. Sidemen und diese Villa würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen. Es war fantastisch.

Die Aussicht auf die schöne Landschaft ist unbezahlbar!

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Ausblick von der überdachten Terrasse war einfach nur traumhaft. Wir würden auf jeden Fall eine Trekking Tour durch die angrenzenden Reisfelder empfehlen. Wir haben 2x bei den Gastgebern Abendessen bestellt und es war beide Male wirklich ausgezeichnet. Vielen Dank für alles!!

Wir hatten ein Mal um eine Badezimmer Reinigung gebeten und uns erwartet, dass im Zuge dessen auch die Handtücher gewechselt werden, da das meines Mannes nach Hund roch. Hätten wir aber vielleicht noch extra kommunizieren sollen. Sie hätten uns sicher noch welche gebracht :) Das Frühstück könnte ein bisschen vielfältiger sein. Vielleicht kleinere Portionen, dafür mehr Auswahl.

Prachtige rustige accommodatie met een fantastisch uitzicht!

Prachtige stijlvolle accommodatie waarbij het je aan niets ontbreekt. Het uitzicht aan het rijst terras is vooral in de ochtend en in de namiddag adembenemend vanaf je kamer/balkon of vanuit het zwembad. Je kan vanuit de accommodatie zo starten met de wandeling rondom het rijst terras en het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk. Een oase in Sidemen!

Tout était parfait pour notre dernière nuit à Bali (l’endroit, la vue, les repas, le calme) c’était très apaisant car il n’y a rien autour, à part le paysage magnifique pour admirer et se reposer. (pour les déplacements prévoir un scooter ou un chauffeur)

juste pour info, prévoir des roupies en liquide. ils ne prennent pas la CB (heureusement on avait payé en avance la chambre sur booking et on a eu juste assez en billets roupies pour payer notre dîner)

We verbleven 2 nachten in deze idyllische hut met een waanzinnig mooi uitzicht op de rijstvelden. Omdat de Sidemen hike langs de hut loopt, kan je deze ook zonder toegangsprijs bewandelen. De eigenaars verrasten ons met een geschenk en persoonlijke brief tijdens onze honeymoon, enorm attent! We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf hier met een uitstekende service!
