Bella Kita Mountain Retreat & Spa

Everything was beautiful - the views, the pool, the rooms were enormous, the food at the Monkey Bar was great. The staff were lovely, friendly and went out of their way to make my husband's birthday really special. They can go into town and buy anything you want or need. It was great to see another part of Bali with such lush jungle. It felt like a very relaxing retreat!

Nothing really. The road was pretty steep and with the heat a little hard for long walks, but also great exercise. It's also quite isolated without nearby shops and no other restaurant choices but that didn't bother us at all because what was there was perfect.

We came back again because we loved this place so much on our visit in 2019. Great views of tropical forest & mountains, overlooking valleys & villages to the sea. Infinity pools are lovely, although we didn’t swim this time. Swam in them last time & they were fabulous. The food at Monkey bar was delicious & staff there are amazing! Very friendly staff at both resort & restaurant. The outdoor shower setting is gorgeous. The bed was really comfy. A more authentic experience of Bali life for villagers. Terima kasih 🙏🏼

It is a bit too expensive for what it is. No complimentary water, you have to buy bottled water. No wine, only beer, spirits or cocktails. You have to rely on drivers to get there & back.

I LOVE everything about Bella Kita and the Monkey Bar. The steep mountain road leading to this paradise may be a challenge - but what awaits you up there is SIMPLY AMAZING! The fantastic foliage and flora, amazing panoramic views of mountains and the Indian ocean; the incredible staff and workers, the yummylicious food and drinks served - they’re being compare. Wayan, Ketut, Arik, Itna, Johnny and everyone else - you are all amazing people. Will definitely come back again and again,
