Very nice kitchen in the apartment! Nice take out place with dozens of different "restaurant" options just 2 blocks apart. Very affordable.
Check in was difficult. They asked to fill an online form and upload a picture of the ID of the person who made the reservation and the bank card which was used for payment -- and required the names to be matching for the ID and bank cards. Since we used my colleague's card (who was also traveling with us), this was an impossible puzzle to solve. There wasn't anyone on-site so this was stressful. Thankfully we used a virtual card for the reservation -- so we anyway could not upload a picture of the card as requested -- and after some phone calls and uploading the ID card they let us in.

The Butler Avenue apartment delivered a memorable stay with its choice location near vibrant Sawtelle Blvd, a hotspot for Japanese and Asian cuisine that became my go-to for meals and evening walks. I especially enjoyed the variety of restaurants and shops that made every day feel like a mini-adventure. The neighborhood also felt great for biking and walking, and Stoner Park nearby was perfect for a quick outdoor break. Easy access to transit and short drives to Santa Monica made exploring LA simple. A wonderful place to stay for city explorers and foodies alike.

Beautiful, well-maintained property with a true resort-style feel. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the amenities—especially the pool—were a big plus. Excellent location just minutes from Santa Monica while still quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

This West Los Angeles apartment was the perfect home base — stylish, cozy, and steps away from one of the city’s best food scenes in Sawtelle Japantown with endless places to eat and explore. From late-night spots pouring Korean BBQ to quirky dessert cafés, there was always a new culinary experience nearby. I also enjoyed restful strolls through Stoner Park between meals, which felt like a hidden gem of greenery. The neighborhood’s walkable layout meant I didn’t need to drive much during my stay. Definitely a great choice for food lovers and explorers alike.
