Central location, clean, well-maintained apartment, good communication

It was comfortable and well located, although about a 20minute walk from the centre. The main bed was comfortable and quiet (although the neighbour above us was active around midnight…possibly works late and footsteps from above on tiled floors)…no traffic noise that we were aware of. The adjoining park was a delight. Best was that it was warm

It is fairly new and there were several minor issues BUT the property manager was very helpful and attentive and offered to correct things. I felt it was a little overpriced, it was described as a 2 bedroomed apartment but the second bedroom was really an extension of the sitting room with no separate door….not a problem for us but it may not have worked for a family with small children. There was absolutely nothing in the apartment, we arrived late and would have appreciated a coffee/tea. This was rectified the following day and we were given salt and pepper, oil and vinegar sachets, coffee pods (including a birthday gift) and whatever we asked for and it was explained this was due to it being a new property and it may well be different now. One small soap and one sachet of shower gel per person is not welcoming for guests staying a week. BUT I am sure we could have had more if we asked….there is a limit to how much we wanted to get the manager out though. The property needs to be mindful of the number of days someone is staying and remember that there are still restrictions on amount of liquids allowed in cabin baggage and there is usually an expectation of what is at the property. I little more helpful information written in the flat, for example location of the nearest bakers…it seemed an « upmarket » area and hence prices were higher than other parts of the city, but we quickly found cheaper places.further afield. How to turn on the gas for cooking isn’t evident to tourists.
