Lovely large apt with 3 big bedrooms, a beautiful little balcony overlooking the church across the road, a nice touch from the host of biscuits and juice. It’s a 35 minute walk into the Centre but there is a great metro so close by which we used everyday. Communication with Tommaso was excellent he was very responsive. The only small thing I would say is that one of the bathroom doors doesn’t close, this is ok for us as we were with family but could be awkward if with friends!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Turin at this beautiful apartment! With views of a cathedral and walking distance to grocery stores as well as restaurants it was a great place for the few days we had in Turin. The beds were comfortable. The space was adequate for our family of five and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to prepare meals. We were welcomed with different juices as well as local cookies which was a nice touch. It is a bit of a walk to some places you may want to visit, but we like walking and that wasn’t a problem for us. we would recommend this place and would stay here again if we find ourselves in Torino in the future.

We had the BEST time in Turin! The location is perfect for seeing sights and also for easy onward travel. So much was within walking distance and we found the trams and buses easy to navigate. The apartment itself was a great space in a great location. It is in desperate need of refurbishment (plumbing, fixtures & fittings, sofas held together with tape, flooring in bathroom…), however we only used it as a base and for that it was perfect! Tomasso could not have been more helpful! The best host we have ever encountered! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Tomasso, our host, meet us at the property and was great. He explained the home and gave us all sort of recommendations for restaurants and sites. He even made reservations for us. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. In two of the bedrooms, the mattresses are only 6 inches off the floor, which for seniors, made it difficult to get in and out of bed.

Overall the location of this property is great - city centre is walkable. Toughest part was parking, it is paid street parking and we weren't aware of that but it was fine once we learned how to do it.

My family of 4 stayed at Tommaso and Alessandra's place in San Salvario for 3 months, while I taught at Politecnico di Torino. It was the perfect home base for an easy commute to Polito's main campus and a short walk to Castello del Valentino, where I was teaching. San Salvario has many great restaurants. The neighborhood can get lively/noisy at night, but the apartment is located on a quiet block with no restaurants, across from a church. The walk to Porta Nuova train station takes about 12 minutes, even with little kids, which was handy for our weekend trips to other cities. The 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment worked great for our family of 4 - one more bedroom and one more bathroom than we have in California. The apartment has everything you need for cooking and cleaning during a longer stay. Tommaso was very responsive when we had any questions, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and gelato. We will stay here again if we have the chance to return to Torino!

The apartment was perfect for our 2 families (4 adults and 4 small kids). Tommasso was very communicative and easy to reach. Also, we were welcomed with juice and Italian cookies for our group, which was a nice touch. The apartment is big and the bedrooms are spacious, each equipped with comfortable beds, fans, and large windows. The ceilings are high, which was helpful in keeping it cool in the middle of summer. I'd definitely recommend it to groups or families needing some extra space in the middle of Torino! Grazie Tommasso et Alessandra!

Remarkably nice appartement in the hipster quarter San Salvario. Less than 5 minutes walking to the metro stop and all necessary shops around. We enjoyed our stay a lot in this well equipped, nicely designed and cosy appartment. Beds were very good as well as the provided sheets and towels. The kitchen has everything to enjoy a huge dinner with friends, the two bathrooms are clean and the wifi is working perfectly. Best of all were the very friendly houselords! Trustable, available for any question and very fair in price. We will come back definitely!!! Thanks again!

Our host could not have been more gracious-he had water, wine, and cookies waiting for us. The apartment was big and roomy and charming. We were even more charmed when we found out it was his grandmothers. The apartment was spotless, bathrooms updated and kitchen was just charming.The location was easy to walk to places and plenty of restaurants nearby. The only complaint (if I had one) were the rude people next door. Coming up the stairs laughing and speaking loudly at 4 in the morning. Our host has no control over that it was just frustrating. All in all I would highly recommend it.

Had a fantastic stay! Clean, well equipped apartment. Felt like an authentic Torino apartment, lots of charm but simple. Also appreciated the extra towels provided. Only thing this apartment didn't have was shampoo, so remember to bring your own. There is a very convenient 24h Carrefour grocery store nearby to buy any supplies. The host was very communicative and friendly. Very much recommend to stay here!

We spent 4 nights in the apartment. It’s located on the 2nd floor (Ground, 1st, 2nd) and requires a key to enter the building....and a key to enter the apartment. The apartment was clean, spacious and convenient. The San Salvario area has several great places to eat & drink, and it’s within easy walking distance of other areas of Torino (as well as being close to the Porto Nuova train station and taxi stands). Tommaso and Alessandra are very responsive and helpful, and are very willing to offer advice, answer questions, etc. Overall, the apartment worked very well as a place to launch daily trips in and around the area.

We absolutely LOVED this apartment. All three bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable, the flat is well-appointed, and the location is perfect - about a 15 minute walk from Porta Nuova station and the historic centre with lots of shops and restaurants at your doorstep. From the moment we booked until we arrived the communication was great. We were warmly greeted at the property by Tommaso who gave us a thorough tour of the flat, and gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. We could not have asked for a better experience. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

We had a great stay in this apartment while in Turin for a conference at the Lingotto center. The apartment is absolutely lovely and Tommaso was a fantastic host. He met us at the apartment and gave us a detailed tour of everything we needed to know (including his recommended running routes through the nearby park!), plus left us some traditional cookies and a bottle of wine, and was responsive by text when we had other questions during our stay. His restaurant recommendations in the guestbook were very helpful as well. Thanks Tommaso! The San Salvario neighboorhood is very lively and full of fun places to get aperitivos or dinner. The apartment is very close to the Marconi metro stop (3.5 small blocks - less than a 5 min walk) and is still within walking distance of many attractions in the central area of Turin (it took us about ~35 min to walk up to the Mercato Palazzo, for example). It had been a little hard for me to determine the bathroom situation from the description on HomeAway, but this apartment does have 2 full bathrooms (toilet + shower), which makes a big difference when traveling with a larger group and/or people who are not family. The vibe/decorations of the apartment are very European and charming - I wish I could live here! Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed this apartment - definitely don't hesitate if you are thinking of staying here.

Tommaso and Alessandra are absolutely lovely people with a lovely apartment. My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young children) stayed there for 13 nights and were sad to say goodbye (Both to the apartment and Torino). The apartment is spacious for 5 (our two youngest shared one room). All rooms have large double beds. The street and inner courtyard were quiet at night for sleeping (and not too loud at all during the day). The kitchen is a lovely room to gather in for cooking. Two full bathrooms were a luxury for us. Tommaso was so responsive to any questions we had. We hope to return!

The apartment has everything you need and is in an excellent location. It is walking distance to all sightseeing attractions and has many good restaurants located nearby. Vi (5 personer) havde et dejligt ophold. Vi satte pris på, at værelserne var store og rummelige og at der var 2 badeværelser og to mindre altaner.
