2 Bed in Ambleside oc-lr191

Eine der wunderschönsten Ferienwohnungen, die ich je gebucht habe. Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Wohnung ist in einem Haus mit 6 Wohnungen und wir waren im 1. Obergeschoss. Die Wohnung verfügt über ein großes Fenster im Wohnzimmer mit tollem Blick auf die Berge (Fells). Absolut ruhige Lage. Die Lage ist auch so, dass man zu Fuß in 10 Minuten im Ortszentrum ist und man vom Haus aus auch direkt Wanderungen unternehmen kann (z.B. Wansfell Pike). Auch der Parkplatz vor dem Haus ist sehr praktisch. Hierher kommt man gerne wieder.

Auch nach längerem Überlegen fällt mir absolut nichts ein, was mir nicht gefallen hätte!

This is an exceptional apartment, really clean and comfortable, with great views. The photos displayed are very representative of the place, which is in a great location, just above Ambleside, a 10 minute walk away. The apartment is really well equipped with everything we needed. It was very warm when we stayed, and there were two fans which were very useful. And as the photos suggest, the view from the back of the property is amazing, It was really easy to get into Ambleside for shops, eating and drinking, and the location is also great for seeing the surrounding area with a number of walks from the front door, and access to Lake Windermere on foot in 15 minutes. We parked the car when we arrived and didn't need to use it all week and enjoyed walks to Loughrigg Fell, Grasmere village and Stock Ghyll waterfall, and a boat trip to Bowness. We will be coming back.

The only slight downside was the walk back from Ambleside - up a steep hill in pretty hot temperatures was not much fun - but there has to be a pay off for the amazing views from the apartment's elevated position! Being really picky, the extractor fan in the bathroom was pretty loud, although it worked really well. A guest book might be useful to allow people to pass on recommendations for days out and eating/drinking establishments.
