What a great find on booking.com! I highly recommend this apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful view to the mountains from dining and living rooms. Kitchen well equipped. Very comfortable double bed. Good size bathroom. Easy parking. Quiet location. A pleasant downhill walk to town but rather hilly to return to apartment. Big garden centre about a kilometre away on Lake Road sold a myriad of products, not just plants. Very nice cafe reasonably priced inside garden centre.

Colourful and wonderful

Property was well maintained, clean, and centrally located. It had great views from the balcony. The apartment had so many toys books and other games fit for my son, that made the stay soooo much more enjoyable.

Beautiful colourful property with stunning views!

The property was great for us. It had all the kitchen utensils we needed and the beds were really comfy. The views are stunning as they say and it was in walking distance to Ambleside and Lake Windermere. 😍

We brought some films to watch but it didn’t have a DVD player. However, the host’s superstar parents who live upstairs, lent us theirs so we could enjoy our evenings watching movies! 😊

Beautiful. Welcoming flat very convenient to downtown shops and hiking.

Wonderful property and host. The views are lovely and the whole flat is quite spacious. So bright and cheery. My children loved the selection of children’s books to end their day. Also very helpful to have a washer on site before we headed to the next stop on our trip.

Fabulous views and location. Free parking. Use of large garden ideal for children. Lots of children’s books and toys. Everything you need for a comfortable stay

Not enough toilet paper for 4 people over 3 days! Could do with a deep clean/attention to detail. Windows need cleaning inside and out. That would improve the view!

A charming, colourful apartment in Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District.

This is a lovely apartment for a couple or a small family. The decor is a bit startling at first, but I warmed to it over the course of my stay as the mixed pastel colours was quite calming. The apartment is fully equipped for a family to stay in comfort for a short or extended stay.

There are two things that could be done to further improve staying in this apartment. First, better curtains in the bedrooms that fully block out the light. Second, an option of a lighter weight blanket on the bed. The heavy doona was too hot for this time of the year.

Lovely flat with amazing views of the Lake District.

The host's parents upstairs were very friendly and accommodating. Lots of toys for children to play with and a nice garden area to run around in. The kitchen was well equipped and the flat itself was clean, tidy, and a very relaxing space
