A wonderful Christmas at this great property in beautiful Ambleside

Large and comfortable and really well equipped and within walking distance to town . Short drive to incredible walks .

Perfect cottage for 3 nights in Ambleside - spacious accommodation very close to all amenities in the town. Lovely views from the property and beautiful walks nearby.

I went with my daughter who is 21 my son and his girlfriend. We had a great time even though it rained. I would definitely recommend it and I will hopefully book it again for us all in the future.

It’s pricey but I’m guessing that’s the location. Also the parking is extremely tight, only just got the car out so decided to use the car park around the corner it was only £18 for 3 days so just easier.

A great option for families and couples.

Very comfortable accommodation, great location. a good option for a weekend in the lake district for families with or without pets.

It would have helped to have better signage for the location. The owner sent instructions to the location in a message, but since we arrived at night and it was our first time there, we had trouble locating the exact place.

Fabulous house in a perfect location.

The location, the house layout and equipment. A comfy bed and lovely warm bathroom. Very dog friendly too, apart from not having a garden but of course we knew that before booking. Plenty of walks from the door.

Very comfortable and cosy. Good location close to town centre.

The parking space was not big enough for my 4x4 so I parked in the car park a short distance away. It worked ok. Not sure where the garden was. There was a small gate beyond the back of the property but seemed to be at the back of other houses. If this was the garden it needs a sign on the gate and a note to say where it is.

beautiful easy location great own parking bay everything thought off lovely and warm own washing machine a must for me spacious

could have done with another tv somewhere to stop family arguments about who’s turn it is lol also some board games (we took our own ) just for either evenings or come back early wet days
