Ty Mawr, The Old School Holiday Homes - Up To 2 Dogs Welcome

The property is exactly as pictured. The gardens are beautifully manicured, the attention to detail in the cleaning, maintenance and interior decor is 10/10 in our view. We can’t wait to come back when the weather is a bit more agreeable so that we can make full use of the garden furniture, sitting out in the patio and enjoying the sounds of sheep in the nearby fields. Caroline the host is extremely warm and welcoming. We arrived to local chocolate, tea loaf and lots of different teas to try. She gave us great local recommendations for walks, local festivals on during our stay and places to eat. The old schoolhouse was perfectly set up for a girly relaxed stay, enjoying the cosy living space and cooking. We had great sleep in the three bedrooms, it comfortably fits five without you feeling on top of each other as the staircases up to the bedrooms are on either side of the house. It only took about an hour in for us to start planning our next stay, we found out the cottage adjacent is also owned by Caroline and we can’t wait to book it out alongside this one for a great stay as a bigger group. It’s very family friendly.

The cottage was very well set out, very clean and comfortable with tasteful decor. Excellent parking as well. Caroline was an extremely helpful host with prompt contact with any queries.

Beautifully recently renovated historical cottage in mid wales. Very inviting hosts. Heartwarming touches like leaving us local treats and produce to enjoy after a long drive. Spotless and extremely well kept property. Everything was very well thought out and the leaflets with attractions came in very handy. Private garden with seating for enjoying the fresh air.
