Angelo's home

I had a wonderful stay at Angelo’s home. Angelo is a wonderful host who made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The location was perfect for my Buddhist weekend at Kagyu Samye Dzong, only a 15-minute walk away. I also enjoyed exploring the area, including Southwark park, Maltby market, and an evening walk along the Thames (London Bridge is a 25-minutes walk). Bus number 1 provided easy access to Euston station. As someone who prefers quieter areas, I found the neighbourhood peaceful, safe and ideal for my stay. Highly recommended!

Angelo was a friendly host who has thought of all the little details to help guests feel comfortable and at home, including a wide selection of teas and hot drinks with a kettle in the room and access to a shared full kitchen and bath. His communication was clear ahead of the visit to ensure he was at home to let me in, as this accommodation is a privately hosted home-stay without a door key, unlike anonymous guesthouses managed by big property management firms. There is a lock on the door to the bedroom, contrary to an older review. The property is in a quiet, safe residential neighbourhood, with a Tesco less than a 10 minute walk away.

While it didn't pose any problems for me, prospective guests should be aware that there are two cats at the property and two flights of stairs.
