About this apartment rental
Situated in the tranquil old part of Zermatt's Oberdorf, this east facing apartment is perfectly placed for you family holiday. A five minute walk will bring you to the Matterhorn departure station, while a five minute walk in the other direction will take you into Zermatt village centre with its many shops, restaurants and bars.
Haus Orgon is comfortable, spacious and modern, with a well equipped kitchen and a double aspect balcony that allows wonderful Matterhorn views.
The space
This light and airy apartment comprises 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin). Both are south facing and have built in wardrobes which allow a spacious feel.
The bathroom has a bath, shower, WC and a hairdryer.
There is a spacious open plan kitchen, well equipped with everything that you would expect to find in a modern apartment (dishwasher, coffee machine, fondue and raclette etc).
The dining area and lounge lead on from this area. the lounge is comfortably furnished and opens onto a balcony. Cable TV is available with multilingual channels including English speaking BBC and ITV. There is a DVD player, iPod docking station and free Wi-Fi.
Guest access
The apartment is let in its entirety. In addition to this there are communal washing and drying facilities and ski storage in the building.
Other things to note
Zermatt is a wonderful destination to visit whatever the season. The winter season allows excellent skiing, snowboarding, sledging and ice skating among other things. A summer trip can still include skiing on the glacier, hiking, mountain biking, swimming and tennis.
Zermatt is renowned for its' mountain restaurants (among the best in the Alps) as well as its lively Apres ski scene with many live music venues, a cinema and bowling alley. There is something here for everyone.
