We loved our stay at the Shepherds Hut, it was perfectly equiped for a quiet get away. Its location is great close to Ae Forest and easy to get to with parking out front. If you want a space to get awat from it all for a night or 2 this is a fantastic option!

'Shepherd's Hut' seems to be brand new and was very clean and cosy inside, with all the facilities you could want in a compact space. The location is very peaceful in farmland up a track off the road connecting the A701 to Ae village. We appreciated the chocolates and tea, coffee etc. that the owners left for us, and their quick responses to our queries.
Perhaps a few more instructions would be useful, on how to turn on the induction hob and the location of the light switch (hidden behind a curtain). Dog pooh on the gravel parking area!

This is one of the best stays I have had in a while. It was so peaceful and quiet and the hut was stunning inside. (The smell of fresh wood is my fave smell) inside utilities were fantastic and clean. I will 100% book this again next year
