The location was absolutely stunning with several really amazing walks nearby. Would highly recommend Crichope Linn gorge walk which the hosts recommended to us upon arrival. The house was spotless when we turned up and the hosts were great, even coming out to assist us early one morning when we couldn't get the oven to work (our own stupidity, the oven worked fine). For the price it was an amazing deal, can't recommend highly enough.

Nice big old house, beautiful views of the river. Nice grounds including old walled garden. Great for a family get together. It is an old house and very much lived in, so expect wonky floorboards etc. but all the facilities are there including nice big berooms and reception rooms and kitchen. High ceilings throughout. We had 6 kids with us they loved it including the little TV room in the attic.
