Location was superb; bed and pillows comfortable; easy access and good communication
Good to have a fridge in the room
Didn’t refill tea bags 😔 even though we asked via a call

Used to use this hotel all the time under previous owners, but never again. No reception, texts telling you how to get into hotel at 3pm precisely. We usually leave our bags before check in while we go to a matinee at the theatre. We would have to pay extra for earlier check in to do this now. Not at all welcoming. Our key lock box code didn’t work and I had to search for a phone number to get a human to fix it for us. No human interaction at all at the hotel itself, no staff present, which made me feel unsafe, whether that be a fire or any other emergency. I understand this is usual at apartments but that’s why we choose hotels and not apartments. We like that human touch. There are plenty of welcoming hotels in Liverpool at the same price range so we will not be using this hotel again.

Property is well located in Liverpool right near the bars and restaurants. Parking is only a short walk away. Digital check in was easy with a code provided to get the keys
Digital check in is also digital code to gain access to the building. My code wouldn’t work on the building entrance so was stood around at 1am with the wife waiting for someone to access the hotel. Luckily this was time ok so we didn’t have to sleep on the curb overnight.
No bottled water in the room which is often available in any credible hotel.

Good location
Unmanned reception, codes to open front door and access to safety box that holds the room key.

City centre location and close to the waterfront. Quiet ambience. Clean and comfortable rooms.
Entry system, but OK once I got used to it. (Saves carrying a key, everywhere.)

Having to ring to get the code to get in when I filled the form out multiple hours before

Perfect location, served its purpose. Travelled over for a Liverpool match. paid £20 extra to get an early checking and this was delivered. The hotel is all key box's and cards to gain entry. No staff actually working in the hotel, not a problem as the one time I did have to make contact regarding my room the call was answered straightway. Perfect room lovely and clean.
Maybe it would be nice to have a staff member on site even for a couple of hour during busy checking times

Lovely clean hotel, comfy beds and nice bathroom.
Check in was confusing, no room number was sent and with having no reception this was a problem for us and 3 other couples we saw.
Rooms were lovely, with good facilities but could do with better lighting, makes it difficult to do makeup is all

The hotel itself was ok nice decor and comfy room. Bathroom was lovely.
No entry code emailed or text. Just by chance someone from EPIC was there to let us in otherwise we would have had to pay for alternate accommodation. I tried to contact EPIC but it’s just an answer service. Very disappointing!!
Right next door to the hotel was a bar with loud music so no sleep for hours, earplugs were used but it made little difference.
After that the air con decided to make noises all through the night despite being turned off!
There is no reception and no staff I saw working there apart from that guy who let us in initially, and that was just by chance!!
Think twice before booking, if you don’t sleep and like being messed around it’ll suit you just fine.

Location was fine. Close to attractions and shops etc.
No Reception desk at all, pin # to enter and collect key. A few other guest in met in the Foyer not that impressed either. Really miss having that person to be able to ask questions about the Hotel and surrounding area. To ask questions you have to call a reception team to find out anything. The room was not serviced during my stay which is a normal thing in a decent hotel. Not all towels supplied and no shelf in the fridge. Only 2 coffee's provided, I had to go and purchase more from Tesco. Little things mean a lot to a guest, well me for one.

Fantastic Location, comfortable stay, very quirky room, clean, fresh and tidy, we had a room with a balcony which was fantastic, our room had tea, coffee, sugar, milk, kettle, fridge & toiletries, we stayed for 2 nights and the housekeeper came in and refilled supplies, remade the bed & tidied the bathroom with fresh towels.
Communicate with staff, despite on the morning, I messaging the property and James reassured he would send it before checking in, but didn’t 😳luckily there was a member of staff to help, again upon leaving there was no code sent so we could secure our room pass.

After you have paid on Booking.com, you are required to pay half the value of the booking as a refundable deposit, in my case £147.20. This was not made clear at the time of purchase.
You then have to upload very sensitive information on their booking platform which is not only intrusive but very discouraging. This includes your bank details, a ‘selfie’, ID (driving license, national ID or passport), DoB, your current address and the address of any guests.
When you want to phone the property, the number they provide does not work, so you have to go via Booking.com for them to attempt to find an alternative number. Once you get a hold of the manager he tells you a member of the admin team will phone you back, which they do not.
You are then only told the main door code, which does not work. Information of the room number and how to obtain the door pass is emailed to you two hours after check in (check in is 3pm, we did not receive any information about our room until 5pm).
This is horrendous customer service, and not worth the hassle.
