The hotel was perfectly located for our requirements being close to Pier Head where we arrived; the room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped.

The check in procedure was a bit of a rigmarole - the access code we were given to get into reception did not work but fortunately another guest facilitated our entrance. We had to wait a good twenty minutes before we could check in as there was no one around only a note of apology. When we got to our room (around 2140) we discovered that the TV didn't work and there was no remote - upon reporting this a guy did attend but was unable to resolve it which we accepted as it was late and sleep was more of a priority. The shower tray got close to overflowing as it was slow to drain which we reported on check out and this was the only hotel out of twelve nights which required a security deposit - although this was promptly refunded within 24 hours of checking it out it is a detterent for future bookings.

Good people, good facilities and location. Value for money.

Pre-registration stressed us out no end. We wasted hours over four days trying to get our selves registered. We were caught in a bind as we had already paid the full fare. Not a good experience. We would have walked away had we had not paid in advance.

Perfect location. Friendly staff.

The bathroom was falling to pieces. Floor tiles were lifting which you could easily hurt your foot on. The shower cubicle was held together with thick layers of silicone from years of "repairs" but the shower door was broken along the top and looked like it might fall off.
