The bed was a bit too soft and the pillow too thin. A really minor and very subjective thing.

A nice clean unit in a great location, but could be improved with better storage.

The location is excellent. The property is clean, modern and seems very secure. We also liked the outdoor courtyard that is exclusively for the unit. Unfortunately, another apartment on the ground floor with windows that open on to the courtyard was occupied by a smoker who would smoke while leaning out the window. We would then have to close our French doors and windows onto the courtyard to avoid having the smoke stink up our apartment.

This studio isn't just tiny; it might more appropriately be called a micro studio. One of the biggest issues from our perspective is that each side of the bed has a tiny shelf above the head of the bed and the shelf on right side has no electrical outlet or USB port. (There is no room for a nightstand on either side of the bed.) There is hardly sufficient space on the tiny shelves to hold a cell phone, let alone a glass of water, keys, a wallet, or other items one usually would keep on a night stand. Also, for the person sleeping on the right side of the bed, getting in and out of the bed is a bit of a challenge. Moreover, trying to find places to put things is similar to playing with a Rubik's cube. You have to keep moving things around to find a place to set something. Furthermore, except for a few drawers in the tiny kitchen which already have kitchen items in them, there are no drawers for storing anything. So basically, you have to live out of your suitcases. We have a few suggestions for the owner. Add a towel rack on each side of the bathroom sink, lower the clothes hanging bar in the alcove by the front door, add a narrow (in depth) chest of drawers in the alcove by the front door, and add an approximately 30 cm deep shelf above the eating bar in the kitchen. Those simple and inexpensive improvements would greatly improve the experience from our perspective. Ikea carries narrow (in depth) chests of drawers and likely has one that would fit the bill perfectly.

Tolles Studio in der Berner Altstadt

Das Studio ist wirklich tiny 🙂, aber sehr fein! Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist toll, es gibt viele Bars, Restaurants und kleine Geschäfte direkt vor der Haustüre. Die Ausstattung ist grosszügig, es hatte viele Küchen- und Putzutensilien und sogar eine Waschmaschine. Daneben nette Extras wie Kaffeekapseln, Tee, Pflaster etc. Man könnte also durchaus länger dort verweilen. Die Gastgeber sieht man zwar nicht aber die Kommunikation ist gut und die Instruktionen ausführlich. Leider war ich beruflich unterwegs und musste nach einer Nacht wieder abreisen, ich wäre gerne länger geblieben!

La location è molto bella e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. È situata nel cuore del centro storico di Berna, all'interno di un edificio d'epoca.
