Convenient for the city although not in a particularly good area. Good local amenities such as a Co-op store and an excellent pizza shop nearby. The room is clean and comfortable with French doors opening onto a small patio and garden. The WiFi is a bonus.

The room needs some improvement such as a chair, bedside lamp and a bathroom mirror. I bring these with me now. The grass is overgrown and needs cutting. I don’t want to have to bring my strimmer! I’ve raised these issues with the booking company and it will be interesting to see if any action is taken.

Little to no communication form landlord /owner

The bed comfortable, the landlord very helpful, really feel here like in house. Quite zone, very good sleep

The premises were clean and bright. It have the impression of having been recently decorated. Once found, the location was quite positive. A short walk to a major bus stop and close to shops and takeaways.

The email giving location of the property ended up in the junk folder and the address provided on booking was incomplete, so we had a problem identifying the property. I attempted to contact the manager/owner without initial success. I also contacted Booking.com. they also had a problem getting hold of the property manager. However to give the premises their due they did call me back, verified the property and provided the entrance codes. Any criticism I have is not directed to the management of the property but to Booking.com. as a result of their actions the property ended up double booked. Our room was invaded at 2 in the morning but a young couple, demanding we leave and the police had to attend to resolve the issue. A separate complaint is being sent directly to Booking.com.
