Welcome to Elm and Hearth, a retreat designed for rest, renewal, and connection. We're so glad you're here. The elm tree has long been a symbol of strength, wisdom, and renewal- it's deep roots and expansive canopy remind us to stay grounded while reaching for growth. The hearth, the heart of the home, represents warmth, nourishment, and togetherness. Together, these elements embody the essence of your stay: a place to recharge, find stillness, and reconnect to what truly matters.
Feature amenities include steam shower for 2, radiant floors inside and on patio, AirDoctor air purifier, filtered water, hot tub, steam shower, outdoor shower, putt-putt green, and panoramic barrel sauna. We are located on a dead-end of a gravel road about 0.3 miles off pavement only 15 minutes from Iowa State University.

Sleeping Arrangements & Kitchen Notes
Elm & Hearth comfortably sleeps guests across three thoughtfully designed sleeping areas. The upstairs loft features a king bed and overlooks the main living space. The cozy sleeping nook includes a queen bed and is accessed by a large step up—guests love the tucked-away, cabin-like feel, but it may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns. The main level also includes a queen bed with a pull-out queen for added flexibility.
Please note: the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, but we do not have a microwave.
