About this house rental
A traditional miner’s cottage perched in an elevated position, Rock View Cottage boasts breathtaking views of Matlock Bath and the surrounding valley. Enjoy your morning coffee in the pretty front garden or watch the sun set from the private decking area – the views are simply unforgettable.
The Space
Inside, you’ll find a cosy lounge with comfy seating for everyone, an electric fireplace, and a Smart TV with complimentary Netflix – perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the Peaks.
The dining kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need, including an oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. From here, doors open onto the enclosed garden, a safe space for pets, with stone steps leading up to your private deck where you can enjoy panoramic views across Matlock.
Upstairs are three welcoming bedrooms, all dressed with fresh linen and towels:
Bedroom 1 – Double bed
Bedroom 2 – Two singles
Bedroom 3 – One single
The stylish bathroom features a bath with overhead shower, plus there’s a separate toilet for added convenience.

Not accessible for wheelchair users or those with mobility difficulties – there is a steep climb from the car park to the cottage and 8 steps in the garden leading to the decking.
