Great value, super location and a cosy stay.

The location is very convenient especially because I’m using public transport.

Have mostly everything except like small bits like hairdryer or salt or a toaster! But it’s not really a big thing!

We absolutely loved our stay at number 9! We had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy and the whole cottage was cosy and welcoming. Lovely little park up the hill behind the property for the kids to burn energy before bed. Regular buses from just down the road got us everywhere we wanted to go. A walk along the Cromford canal is a must, we took the duck food that was provided to feed the geese! Arkwrights stores is amazing, they sold everything we needed without having to go to a supermarket and the ladies in there were fab! The childrens book basket was a lovely touch and they really loved the little basket of wooden dolls! We would 100% return to number 9 and Cromford, we had the best time :)

Lovely peak district experience

The cottage was adorable and felt very authentic peak district. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the board games were a lovely addition. The hosts were very responsive and lovely from start to finish.

The outside garden needed attending to and not pleasant to sit out in especially with the hot weather and the garden furniture not comfortable to sit on. The parking was not good.

A gem of a place

Clean cozy and fully equipped. It’s a gorgeous property. Easy access to the local area. Easy parking on street. A break we really needed. Would like to visit in winter and get the fire going. Hosts were super helpful from booking to end. Will come back again I hope. Lovely little art gallery right outside the back door. Everything in the house is sourced locally which was a lovely touch.

If you are tall then remember to duck! It’s on the main road so don’t expect silence but that can’t be helped you get used to it and they provide ear plugs!! Nothing to dislike, just pointers before booking so you know what to expect but the property and location is worth the ducking.

Hidden gem

Everything! Our 5 year old said he'd give it 10 out of 5 🤣 The attention to detail and care in making this lovely holiday home is clear to see, nearly everything has been thought of and it was so well equipped and done to a high quality standard. The master bedroom is stunning and smelt amazing! We loved being able to walk to lots of places and there is so much to do nearby, especially for young children. The hosts were fantastic and lots of extra little touches were much appreciated (late check out/welcome pack etc). We also enjoyed the sun trap at the back and especially the fire pit. Thank you so much, your cottage is really beautiful and we had a wonderful time.

It is on a busy and noisy road, but you soon get used to it and we felt the positives of the location outweighed this.

Spotlessly clean, had everything in the compact kitchen that you would need, renovated to a high and very pleasant standard, good location for exploring surrounding country, courtyard was lovely sun trap for breakfast, small welcome pack was a nice touch

Very busy and noisy road. Double bed was extremely squeaky and needed a fitted bottom sheet.
