Always a pleasure

It is always a pleasure to stay in this beautiful little apartment. It's always comfortable, clean and honestly the best place to stay in Matlock bath. This apartment is so close to everything. Just across the road from the train station and the heights of Abraham. A lovely curry house is less than a minute away on the corner. A short walk to gulivers and the little main street. The host is always friendly, helpful and polite. It is just perfect

Brilliant place for long or short breaks

Maureen, (the host) is an exceptional lady. I made a mistake with my booking, which she took days to sort out for me, as if it was purely a minor inconvenience. The flat is in the perfect position for Matlock bath attractions. The flat was clean, homely, warm and welcoming. I will be returning here for sure, as it would be a great base to use for many surrounding areas. The off road, private parking space is also a huge asset. Access to a beautiful, shared courtyard to use in warmer months

The address was a bit tricky to find, even with sat nav and great directions from the host

Center of town and easy to park the car.

Maureen was very helpful and the ground floor apartment clean and tidy. Everything was provided in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. Beds were very comfy! Parking was right outside the main door and Maureen allowed us to park there a bit later after we checked out as we visited the Heights of Abraham. Thank you very much indeed.

Wonderful apartment for families right in the heart of Matlock Bath with parking

Location, location, location. Right in Matlock Bath with parking in front. A lovely apartment. Surprisingly spacious and with en-suire and walk-in wardrobe in the master. The kids were very happy in the double room. Kitchen was really well equipped and the lounge was very comfortable. Maureen was very responsive on message and lovely to chat to on the phone

Just a quick update to the listing would be useful to say parking is easy and directly in front - I wasn't sure. Also that you need to go to a supermarket on your way there but most self-caterers would have this sorted anyway. Actually Sainsburys is only a 10 minute drive away.

Location was perfect to allow me to combine work and time with my family - right beside all of the cafes and the gorgeous park on the Severn. Really had a lovely time

Not a criticism, and I was aware this was fully self catering however, salt and tea and coffee would be a nice wee touch.

A Gem of a place

Maureen was so helpful and friendly, a wonderful host. We got a bit lost on the way and she was very happy to guide us to where we needed to be. The apartment was wonderful, like a home from home. Comfortable, clean and has everything you need. Lovely location close to town and a lovely Indian restaurant just down the hill.

Excellent location, very close to all local attractions , country parks and local pubs. The host was lovely and communication was excellent all throughout. The apartment itself was clean, welcoming and cosy. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the area.

Beautiful Coach houses

Beautiful little Coach house. No faults at all. Location was great. Apartment was great. All round great weekend away.

Only issue we had was Parking even though it wasn’t an issue. 3 really tight spaces. We had a knock at the door from someone telling us to move further over; even though we were in out allocated slot and they said that the 3rd person was away for the night. So it was a really unnecessary exchange of words.

This is a bright, spacious and very comfortable apartment. It is in a great location, tucked away on a quiet street just a couple of minutes away from the main street and is perfect to enable the exploration of the surrounding area on foot, by bus or train. Maureen is a lovely host and communication was excellent. Highly recommended.

Matlock Bath apartment stay

Very central, clean comfortable 2BR ground floor apartment. Quite delightful. Well equipped. Maureen, our host, went out of her way to deal with a small issue we had. We will be rebooking.

Very small point, the kitchen drawers could do with a flat spatula :)

Caring host, central location.

Great communication with Maureen - she was very concerned that everything was ok for us. Central location, spacious, well equipped.

Could have been tea/coffee/milk etc (although I understood the place was usually rented out longer term for self catering but is usually expected for short term rents).
