Mijn dochter is bij het betreden van het appartement van de trapjes gevallen. Misschien verwittigen op voorhand door een bordje ofzo? Bij het openen van de deur was het donker. De douche. Warmte van water schommelde terwijl je eronder stond. Je kreeg pads voor afwasmachine dat er niet was.

The apartment itself was quite unique, in a historical building. It is very nicely renovated with a fully equipped modern kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms were a good size and mattresses comfortable. A/C worked very well. Our study abroad student was staying across the street so it was a convenient location. Food markets, coffee shops, metro stops and lots of good neighborhood restaurants are steps away. It is not an upscale neighborhood but everything in Barcelona is easily accessible.

It might be difficult for someone to negotiate the narrow, slippery stairs. It's a very old building so the tiny European elevator was important!

The apartment is great however the area of Poble Sec is not the best too close to El Raval. Passeig de Gràcia is a much better choice as area !

The apartment is clean the beds are comfortable. The terrace was a plus

Proximity to the center

At the time of the arrival Aircon was not working, even though we've tried everything according to the instruction (all three units in the same mode, etc.), staff were informed, we've got confirmation that it will be fixed asap, and it was not during the whole 5 day stay, no other follow-ups, so we had to sleep with open windows. 2 of the 5 days we've received late night calls about a noise complains, and to be honest the building is like paper and they could at least invest in some sound isolation at least in doors, one evening an administrator came and knocked to our room asking to lower our voices (and it's was just a regular talking). So overall it was not the most pleasant stay.
