Sweett - Urgell Eixample

The reception is very close by to the apartments (3-4 minutes walking distance). The reception staff was very helpful and kind and we also were able to communicate instantly with them through WhatsApp. We had requested an early check which was possible and communicated very well to us. Further to the instructions provided at the check in desk, very clear and helpful instructions to enter and use the apartment, were also send to us through an App and through WhatsApp. You can enter the building entrance and the apartment by access code. The apartment is in a typical beautiful, well aged Barcelona building and has an elevator. The elevator is rather small (can fit 2 people max) but still was very helpful for us. (Not AMEA accessible). Location is amazing, right next to the Urgell metro station (with elevator access) and other strategic bus stations, which was really important to us with a 4-year-old and a stroller. Many nice bars and restaurants nearby and we especially loved ‘’La Casa’’ which was right next to our block’s corner. Also, the location is grate because it is relatively quiet considering it is in the city center and is strategically located in between major Barcelona attractions, so the distance is reduced. Plaza Catalunya is a 12-minute walk or a couple of metro stops away. The apartment was very clean and fully renovated with really nice appliances and all the cooking ware needed. Smart TV, Nespresso machine, microwave and toaster, hairdryer also available. There are a few shampoos and toiletries, enough for a couple of days, but for anything further there is a 24-hour minimarket right below the apartment. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The management's effort is visible. We felt at home, right away.

The only thing we can negatively comment was that there is some noise from the street due to the old type windows which is mainly affecting the living room and one of the two bedrooms which is facing the road, but for us this was not an issue even at sleeping times. For someone that requires absolute silence this can be an issue. Also, rarely you can hear noises from above apartments but nothing that would spoil our day or night. The remote control was not the original to the TV set, but it is compatible and when getting used to its fine.

The apartment was very clean, spacious and near to the metro. The communication with the company was very good, there were very attentive and helpful!

Zameldowanie to koszmar. Jestem programistą, potrafię posługiwać się aplikacjami – wypełnienie formularza rejestracji w odrębnym systemie "obiektu" zajęło mi na lotnisku prawie 25 min. Musiałem podać email. Później musiałem go zweryfikować (dlaczego w trakcie wyboru pokoju nie było to opisane jako wymóg), następnie musiałem wysłać zdjęcia paszportów. Jak doszedłem do 3 podróżnego i zmieniłem, że jednak podróżuję w 2 osoby – wszystkie dokumenty trzeba było fotografować od nowa. System się wiele razy zawieszał, wiele razy kazał powtarzać te same czynności, marzyłem o tym, aby dodawać do kiepsko działającego systemu zdjęcia dowodów 4 razy. System wymagał zdjęcia twarzy. Po co? Gdzie moje zdjęcie zostało wysłane? Kto je przetworzył? Jacy usługodawcy mieli do niego dostęp? Wejście do pokoju – nie, nie mogą udostępnić kodu (recepcja też nie może), mogą natomiast wysłać linka, linka, w którym aby otworzyć kod do pokoju muszę przejść z 3 różne ekrany, z pierwszego klikasz dalej, czekasz, aż się załaduje, po czym przechodzisz do kolejnego, dalej i znów dalej, aby wyświetlić ci dostęp do pokoju. I tak za każdym razem, jak chcesz przypomnieć sobie kod. Wymuszenie przez „system", czy chcę dokupić ubezpieczenie od zniszczeń? Śmiech. Nie wyrażałem zgody na branie udziału w akcjach marketingowych. W końcu gdy aplikacja pokazała ci klucz do pokoju, to zamiast pokazać numer piętra dostajesz nazwę „Entresol floor" i nazwę apartamentu (to nie do wiary, ale używają tej samej nazwy apartamentu dla różnych apartamentów na różnych piętrach, a w windzie nie ma Entresol floor – więc jeździłem z 3 walizkami jednoosobową windą po różnych piętrach, szukając, jak się dostać do apartamentu. Technologia... Sam pokój – jestem przekonany, że rezerwowałem inny – na pewno inny był w ofercie głównej – może pomyliłem się przy wyborze opcji, ale to, co dostałem, wyglądało inaczej. Pokój nadszarpnięty zębem czasu. Na pewno nie wrócę.
