The location was ideal for the hiking that we had planned. It was easy to get the keys because they were located in a lock box next to the house. More importantly, the owners were SO welcoming and nice. They were so warm and generous! The house itself is quite small but if you plan to be out most of the day going on adventures and just need a cozy place to sleep and have breakfast, this will exceed expectations! Another bonus, they are VERY fast to respond should there be any questions or concerns. I would absolutely recommend this place and stay here again!!
The description on arriving for the first time could be include more details. There are two gates from the main road that appear on Google Maps but it's the second gate that should be used to drive up to the house (the road and driveway are a bit narrow for parking). One other small note is that because it's in the mountains, the power can sometimes go out, BUT the owner made sure to explain how to turn the generator on so that we didn't go too long without the lights/heating/etc.
