Beautiful property with pretty view

The apartment is spacious and the location is convenient for visiting Rapallo and the surrounding area. The parking space was also useful.

Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. The apartment was not adequately clean when we arrived. More importantly, the Booking.com listing stated that the property had a “private beach area.” This was one of the services we expected when booking. However, when we arrived and asked for information about the private beach, we were told that the property had never offered this service. We also experienced problems accessing the property. One evening the entrance gate did not open and our group was left waiting outside for approximately 15 minutes. Communication with the host was another major issue. We tried calling several times during our stay without receiving an answer. When we raised the problems we had experienced, instead of receiving a helpful response, the host used the expression “se ci siete o ci fate” (“whether you really don’t understand or are pretending not to”), which we found unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. We understand that problems can happen during a stay, but we expect the services advertised on Booking.com to actually be available and guests to be treated respectfully when they report an issue
