Eine sehr typische Unterkunft mit viel Charme. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Belle expérience de maison ancienne traditionnelle, belle décoration d'ancien magasin de saké. Très bon emplacement. Parking gratuit. Photos de l'annonce fidèles à l'existant.

Confort simple (futons peu épais, bancs et assises en bois, faible isolation de la pièce principale où il faisait très chaud en Aout) mais correspondant à la prestation de maison ancienne.

The property is nice to see what an old traditional home would have looked like. It is in close walking distance to everything in the Gion district.

The layout of the property is a little wasted on space. There is a shop at the front that isn’t operational but you can’t use the space. Then you enter a large dining room and small kitchen (the fridge and microwave are upstairs however). A small bathroom is down stairs with a cute timber like tub. The small and low stair case leads up to a toilet, a small bedroom with all the beds crammed into it and yet another room with two dining tables in them. We had to move the futons into that room and move one of the dining tables to make it two bedroom as advertised. That room was very noisy outside this room and made it hard to sleep. We couldn’t bring our luggage upstairs as the stairwell is so small so we had to leave all the luggage downstairs. The accommodation tax was asked for in cash so please be prepared to have cash with you when checking in.
