Raset Puerto - Serviden

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The position in the old town is special. The space and light are life-enhancing (we were there in February when it was sunny and warm despite some windy and rainy days.) There are high quality appliances - even though these (cookers, showers, etc) have been well used over time, they still work nicely on the whole. This is not a brand new home, rather, it’s been created by someone who cares, and it’s lived a life, with the knocks that brings. There is ample storage and lots of kitchen equipment. Again, not all brand new, but generously supplied. Mattresses are new and comfortable. Bedding is fine. The lift is great if you need it. Serviden were polite and helpful. Fresh linen is delivered every 7 days. (NB you have to collect and deliver the keys to the office which is a bit of a walk or a short taxi/bike ride away) Things to consider: It’s in an historic and attractive yet busy area, with authentic Spanish restaurants right outside the window . It’s not full of loud music, just people having a nice time chatting and eating. Understandably, as it’s an old building, there is no sound proofing, so you can hear the nice people upstairs living their normal life. Whilst we were there it was just everyday sounds, but if you don’t like hearing other people upstairs then bring earplugs or go elsewhere. Dénia is not a sanitised tourist destination - it’s a real place full of life - both locals and visitors.
