I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a frustrating experience on several fronts.
Location: The surrounding area felt unsafe and neglected, with a noticeable homeless population nearby. This made me uneasy stepping out, especially in the evenings.
Service: Overall service was very slow. Simple requests took far longer than they should have, and staff seemed understaffed or unprepared to handle guest needs promptly.
Elevators: Only one lift was operational during our stay. This caused long waits — sometimes up to 10 minutes — just to get to our room or head back down. For a hotel with multiple floors, this was a major inconvenience, especially with luggage.
Room Allocation: We had booked two adjacent rooms in advance through the website specifically so our group could stay close together. Despite this, upon arrival we were assigned rooms on entirely different floors, with no explanation or effort to accommodate our original booking.
Parking: The parking area wasn't self-accessible — every single time we needed to enter or exit, we had to walk to the reception desk and ask staff to open it. This became tedious, especially at odd hours or when in a hurry.
Overall: Between the slow service, elevator issues, booking mix-up, and inconvenient parking access, this stay fell well short of expectations. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and will be looking elsewhere for future visits.

A great hotel for sleeping. The beds are so comfy, and the staff was good. My only issue was how come water isn't free in America? I had to walk across the street diagonally to get water from another hotel, and I only learned that from the New York police randomly stationed on the sidewalk my first full day in NYC.
The hotel was serving hot water in the mezzazine or coffee--I didn't try it, so I don't know for sure--but why was there no place there I could grab water? It was annoying and incovenient, especially when I had to get someone to watch my stuff or put it back in my room, to go across the street just to fill up my water bottle.
