Budget 1-Bed Flat in Manchester

It would help, if there were some instructions to find the place, or even say it is a white building. The flat is a nice flat, but the things pointed out below, spoil the experience, especially when people are working all day and then coming back to the flat to relax.

The keys were very difficult to find. Near the front door of flats 1-4, there was no lockbox. There was a water pipe. Near front door of flats 5-8, there were two lockboxes! From the instructions it was not clear that the lockbox for Flat 3 was right round the side of the building, and it was difficult to see the lockbox, and even more difficult to put the correct numbers. Anyone arriving in the dark, would have no chance in finding it. After a long drive from London, the instructions were not acceptable and wasted valuable time. We nearly cancelled. There is no power in the shower. It gives hot water but dribbles. There is no power in the toilet flush. The clock on the wall is not working in the lounge. The sofa is not comfortable to sit on. The verification email was sent at 14:18 pm on the day of arrival. Lucky I saw it.

Excellent location in peaceful surroundings with private parking on site and close to shops and restaurants. Nicely furnished with the addition of a clothes airer, iron and ironing board which were missing, but the host agreed to the purchase of, reimbursing me promptly.

Two short flights of stairs to the property so with mobility difficult at times, it proved to be strenuous.

Extremely quiet, smartly presented, 1 bedroom modernised flat in a good location quietly off the main road close to all the many shops with ample private parking outside where you can always see your vehicle. Really professional hosts. Highly recommended
