Stylish Old Trafford 2BR Apartment, FREE Parking, Near Stadium & City Centre

Booked this apartment for the weekend for a concert at the Co-op Live Arena. Don’t be put off by the outside — the apartment is a hidden gem. It’s a short walk or quick taxi ride to nearby shops, bars, and restaurants. The rooms are a good size, the beds are very comfortable, and it made for a great stay overall

No wine glasses 😅 steep stairs up to the apartment may be an issue for some people

The location was very good close to Manchester Piccadilly station and also next to Restaurants & Supermarkets. We liked the code to unlock/lock the doors which meant our family could go out and come in easily. The beds were very comfortable and didn't move easily when the other person turned or got in/out so everyone had a good night sleep. The heating warmed up the apartment quickly. Having the 2 full bathrooms was great. The fridge/freezer was a good size. It was nice to have the dish soap & sponge for the kitchen & the bathroom accessories. The coffee & milk pods were good. We liked that a kitchen roll was provided. Having bath towels provided for each guest meant we didn't have to bring one.

At the table there was only placemats for 4 people & we were a group of 5. The stairs were manageable but a lot steeper than what we expected - a picture of them on the website would help to prepare guest with elderly family or anyone experiencing foot problems to be prepared for the climb. Maybe bedding could be left out for the Sofa bed, just in case someone wanted to use in it. Maybe a few welcome teabags for tea drinkers.

Within the property the things i liked the most was the coffee machine and the sofa bed as it was extremely comfortable. The property was also very clean

The only thing we did not like was that there was only 1 TV screen in the main room.

Beds and pillows were very comfy, solid matresses which I personally prefer but may not be for everyone. Was a bit chilly in the apartment before heating came on. Warmed up quick and didn't need it on much at night as bedding was warm. Location was close to the event venue we were attending so very handy for that. Easy access to trams and not a far walk into the city proper. Also has a very handy nearby shop for supplies. Toiletries were all provided which was excellent, though the on suite bathroom didn't have a soap dispenser so we had to use the soap in the kitchen or other bathroom which I wouldn't change my rating over but it was a little inconvenient. Kitchen was very good with lots of cooking equipment provided. Hairdryer and ironing equipment were also provided.

Chilly if heating isn't on, even on sunny warm days. The stairs to climb up to the apartment are VERY steep and very narrow so you will likely struggle to bring a bigger suitcase up them as I did, be very careful as there is also no banister to grab onto on either staircase. The on suite bathroom had very visible mold on the ceiling. The on suite bathroom extractor fan did not work at all. Neither shower drained properly due to both having a small divot where you stand, meaning you have to kick all the water down the drain yourself. Multiple times I got into the shower only to stand in a freezing cold puddle of water.
