Seaview apartment in Rothesay

Clean, great location, had everything we needed for a two night stay. Great communication with owner. The flat is in great condition - nicely decorated and modern

The location of the apartment on the front is great and inside the apartment is very nice and clean. Lovely modern bathroom and great telly with netflix.

The condition of the stairwell into the apartment is just not okay, it feels and looks unsafe and really awful. I know that this is not the responsibility of the flat owners themselves and I am sorry to score the apartment lower because of that. If even the stairwell could be painted that would go some way to fixing it, but the hug crack in the wall, the sagging winding stairs and the fact that the close door is frequently left oftne just makes it feel unsafe. ON another note the windows of the flat were so dirty it was actually hard to see the view, if these could be cleaned it woud be great.

Spacious apartment, bright and airy with good heating controls (hive). Modern look to the whole place and very clean. great view of the park area and bay from the front windows. Close to amenities. Lots of sockets and large mirrors. Fluffy towels and everything needed to keep the apartment clean. Lots of hot water and cleaning equipment provided including soap, tea towels and washing up tools.

The entrance stairs to the apartment are stone and very worn making it precarious in heels or if walking ability is hindered in any way (wear trainers!). The galley kitchen has a small oven (enough for me) but may be a bit small for a bigger group. The fridge & freezer again is OK for one. The washing machine does not work. Although the smart TV in the lounge is large it's an older version and has awkward navigation to move between APPs and no screen sharing. The trim in the shower needs attention. The sofa is also a footon which felt a bit too firm (for me). The welcome book states quiet times are between 10:30pm and 08:00am (I think) and no parties.....shame the neighbours aren't aware......the loud music in bursts from 10pm until after midnight was unwelcome (especially as I was on the island working) luckily not loud every night, but will stop me from booking again.
