Apartment close to city center

The apartment was really nice and a good size for 4 people. Location is convenient, with lots of shops and bakeries around, as well as a bus stop nearby that brings you straight to the beach. The historical centre is about 20 minutes walk. The host left us a free bottle of wine, some beers and donuts, and there's also filtered water on tap. The flat has AC that works which is a must for the summer. Bathroom was also stacked with products (shampoos, shower gels) + there was a hair dryer and an iron, which was really useful.

Initially, communication with the host was a little slow, and we had to call to make sure we received the check-in instructions as we were arriving very late. It was a plus that part of our group spoke Greek too, as this helped with resolving an issue on our end, but all in all, everything went smooth. The property advertises two balconies although only one is available to use. The street facing the bedrooms also becomes really loud early in the morning (with trucks passing, neighbours chatting etc) which could be a problem for people who sleep with the window open.
