Fantastic location, just a short walk to either the city centre, or the port. Amazing view from the (shared) veranda, every room has its own toilet / bathroom to use. Michalis was the perfect hist, he made space for our car when we told him we couldn't find any parking around, he helped us a lot with his suggestions and information, a genuinely nice and polite person - thank you very much from both of us!
The "breakfast" table was a bit messy, but has to do with the tenants as well, so acceptable - we didn't have anything anyway...too many steps to climb, even though it's very good for health, still, when you carry heavy luggage on the 3rd / 4th floor without a lift, is a bit of a challenge...but these can't take points of our wonderful stay overall...we will definitely stay there again if visiting beautiful Crete...

The room is fine and the bed is comfortable. There is a small balcony on the top floor with a beautiful view. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful! Location is very close to the city center.
There was no elevator. The bathroom is located outside the room. The bathroom is small and everything gets wet. The room is pretty small with no space to open all our luggage. It gives off a bit of a hostel vibe.

Excellent value for money with a great location and an incredibly kind and helpful host! The hotel is right next to the Old Town of Heraklion and less than a minute's walk from supermarkets, bus stops and bakeries for all your daily needs. A tea and coffee station was provided along with salt, pepper, olive oil etc, which was great for making small meals at home. The views from the top floor of the building are amazing, especially from the balcony, which was the perfect place for breakfast or for some raki at the end of the day! The highlight of the stay was the hospitality of the host, making sure we had everything we needed and giving great local advice on where to go and what to see. We were lucky enough to even get to try some homemade raki and baked goods!
Be prepared for lots of stairs if you're staying in the upper floors, but it's well worth it for the view!

The room is 10 minuts by foot from the city center
The bathroom is not inside the room, the room is small and the fridge doesn’t work.
